Sound dampening matting install
Audio out of old car
Audio in quickly built box
So there it is. I am replacing the CDT components with Focals ASAP, and I will be rebuilding the truck enclosure with fiberglass and two 12W7s. The Amps are both Zapco. The padding install took ~18 hours today, and it made a crazy difference.

No. I didn't get ripped off in the least. JDM as pray4mojo stated. Hell, I would have replaced alot of the upgrades anyway. More to come.
Btw, the matting is pretty light. I installed maybe 100-130 square feet of it.

so how much was it? the bug-eye was quite slow even compared to the Evo VII
i think it'd cost quite a bit to convert a car.

Hey, what did you build the box out of? I like the channel you cut out for the trunk arm...very good idea.

It was a really quick job. It's just MDF, nice and dense. I would say I will have ~$7000 in the system once it is finished.

I have a 350Z and love it. The STi and Evo are great cars, but to me they're just horribly unattractive. I wanted a car that was balanced in performance, comfort, cost, and appearance; for me, the 350Z was the answer.

Did you use a router to cut the channel?
