I usually get fed ex saver stuff rather fast up here in oregon from newegg and cali....So I imagine I can possibly get it by wednesday of next week...If they process my order and get it dropped tomorrow evening then I can get it MOnday to Tuesday as the weekend it will run through the delivery...

Duvie, you going to run it on the 4G4A? I'm curious about how high your fsb will go; you'll need at least 184 to hit 3300MHz+, which you most probably will if you get one of the "chosen" C1's.

Duvie, I hope things go well for you too. I though the limit of my 2.4 BO was 2.8 GHz, but I soon found out it was more the limit of my 4G4A. I couldn't get it stable at 2.86 even with 1.85 vcore and I couldn't use the 3:4 ratio because the machine kept freezing in games. And the cold boot issue was horrendously bad.

I sold the Epox and got an Abit BD7-II RAID which got me to 2.88 stable with only 1.68 vcore. I thought I was in heaven, until I picked up this IT7, which is doing 2.94 also on 1.68 vcore. I am sure that once I download the BIOS that allows higher vcore I will be hitting 3 GHz. Not bad for a BO dated in June.

Anyway, I hope your 2.4 C1 does every bit of 3 GHz man. We're all pulling for ya.

If you get a P4 2.53GHZ retail, have an extremely higher chance of getting a C1. It seems like newegg has cleared out all older steppings of the 2.53GHZ cpu. My friend got one last week, it does over 3ghz stable on P4pE with corsairs.

Well Thugs, now I don't fell all alone now having gone through about 8 CPUs in the last 4 months trying to find the OMG chip. While I already have a 2.66 that can go into 3.xx quite readily, its been more satisfying to find a low speed CPU like a 1.8A that can do a 50% or more OC. Now I should have just left well enough alone after getting the 2.66B and avoided this section but nooooo! I have to see Erickean with his 2.4B doing 3.40.

BTW Duvie, good luck, hopin ya get a C1....3.5...3.5...3.5...

Nope!!! I got the order in late last night and then were able to process it in one day...fed ex saver wont deliver on saturdays but the package will still move to the portland ramp. there it will likely arrive sunday and be loaded on a truck early monday for the main shipping terminal...there is where the extra day could come in...Do they get it there early enough to put it in a delivery truck is the question.

For what it's worth, I hope you get the new SL6RZ batch. The peeps over at Overclockers.com are hitting 3.2ghz at default voltage with these new 2.4 C1s.

I believe Duvie ordered the retail which means he can't get a SL6RZ but the retail may be even sweeter I have a RZ and it is a great overclocker as mine does 3.114ghz@default (1.583v actual) it can go higher but my memory is the limiting factor and where it's at now is the sweet spot for overall system performance/stability with my setup. It's nothin' special but my investment is considerably less than many undertake as well
