I can't wait to get my hand on this mat.
I have one question though. It was mentioned that this mat could be cut to fit an everglide giganta. I really, really hope this is an option at release, because that is the pad I am using.
I have my new Razer Boomslang shipping on Nov. 1, and I would love to get one of these mats as soon as possible

Additional comments: First I would like to say I really enjoy this mouse surface and think the texturing is just right. The texture provides enough feedback to judge mouse travel and is not too rough to become abrasive or distracting. I have had no issues with the optical mouse tracking incorrectly on this surface. The smoothness of the surface greatly helps in first person shooting games as well as AliasWavefront's Maya and Adobe Photoshop as well. The mouse accelerates well and is very smooth on this surface which helps a lot with small movements in graphics programs. The color isn't bad, but a gun metal grey color or clear would be even more appealing in my opinion. The only problems I had with this surface were during installation. When I was peeling the backing off it became creased and I was unable to get the crease out as I was attaching the C4 surface to the mousepad. The crease was difficult to smooth out of the C4 surface and it is still there in a few places. I think a less rigid material for the backing the surface ships with would probably help this issue. Another issue I had was the mousepad's size was 8" by 9 1/2", so I had a half inch where the original mousepad stuck out from under the C4 surface (which was 8" by 9"). It wasn't a huge problem, but maybe a couple different cuts that reflect generic mouse pad sizes would be more helpful and make installation easier, or a larger size that could be cut down would also be an improvement. Rounded corners precut would also be a nice finishing touch, but not necessary. Overall I really enjoy this surface and would be interested in purchasing a larger size
