While your acts of heroism or jsut downright brotherly respinsibility are admirable, they seemed rather muted by your indifference to your sister based on her personality.

I hate many people in my family, but I was sure as hell take a bullt or push them out of the way of an incoming vehicle without thinking.....

I would that for every wretched one....

Here's the thing though...

My brother and I have the same dad. Who is now divorced from my mom. But my sister is my stepdad's daughter. I can't do anything with her. I don't have any rights and neither does my dad.

And if I call child services, and they take my sister from my mom, my mom will probably kill herself. Seriously. It's pretty F'ed up over there.

The worst thing I have ever done in my life was getting a $300 speeding ticket from doing 95 in a 60. I forgot to plug my radar detector in. -_-;

No offense meant, but is that really such a bad thing?

one of the many things he has to weigh. If they are so bad, do you really care what their future brings?

Isn;t you sister worth more than your mom, or is it the opposite in your case?

 for trying to get your brother out of there. I wish you the best of luck on that.

but let me add one more thing ... coke and pot addiction at age 12 WILL cause mental damage. I can only assume you think she has chosen her path and you cant do anything about it, but she's sitting in a burning fire

Trust me, this is for real. My brother was scared to tell me because he knows how pi$$ed I would get. So he called my girlfriend and was crying telling her what happened. Then she called me and told me. She wants me to go get my bro tonight but that is too risky. So I'm waiting until tomorrow.

It probably is shens, just like his other threads. There's no harm in playing along though.

That deal never worked out. There is a Super Wal-Mart opening in our town in the fall. McDonald's will put a store in it and they want my dad to run it. He said he will go for it. I can prove anything you want with pics and stuff.

get the bro, fidn a good lawyer, walk in by yourself, be very cordial, find out what your options are, don't sign anything, and make some excuse to leave. That's the easiest way to find out.

If the lawyer seems good or has good references, use him or whomever you might have in mind.

The point is, leaving him ther another day could be really dangerous, but screwing up the process could be disasterous.

Imagine if you took him and then for some reason the cops raided the house? What if child protection services drops by and wants to take him? what if he has to spends weeks, months, or years whiel the paperwork gets put through the slow beheamouth of bureaucracy....?

Do it right and the best of luck to you.

Seriously guys, I swear to God this is real! And so where my other threads. Except the Trucking device, I lied and said I was making it because I was just soo excited. But the idea was real.

I don't post lies. But some people on this board have a weird way of twisting words.

Seriously if you care anything at all about your siblings call CPS, or the cops.
Don't do this "abudction" BS you have planned, it will only end badly for everyone.

But I CAN'T take my sister! She belongs to them fully. But my dad can gain custody of my brother in a second.

Yes. And I can prove it. It's not like it's a huge deal. Alot of people own McDonald's. My dads best friend owns 4 of them in Houston. He got it good. He doesn't even have to work. He just uses a Supervisor. :p

Also, our newspaper today said a Chili's was coming into town along with a a company who plans to bring in 1,000 employees. When my dad heard all this he said it would be dumb to sell the store right now. So we are sticking around.

1. Show up and take sister to the movies or some other lame excuse to get her out of the house.
2. Call the cops.
3. Offer to take custody of her.
4. Put on your helmet, open your umbrella and get ready for the sh|tstorm to start.

Very very very over simplified... But you get the idea. Might not be a bad idea to see a lawyer first and have guardianship paperwork ready to go.

It's a bad situation. I don't envy you. But reality says that if you don't pull some extreme measures to get your sister out of that house and off the drugs she could very well wind up spending her 14th birthday blowing some fat 50 year old behind the dumpster at Safeway for a $20 rock. Sorry to be so grapic... but that's not an uncommon path for women in your sister's situation.

One way or another she has to get out of that house.

I adisagree..talk to a lawyer first.

most of us might be pretty bright ( i know I am ) but the key is to accept that you do not know everything, and we are talking about your brothers future here..don't make a foolish assumption that could be detremental to his future..or your own...
