Union Goons Beat People At St Louis Townhall

SEIU union thugs were beating people up at a Townhall in St louis - sending one black conservative named Kenneth Gladney to the hospital. His friend described what happened:

"I was at the event. My name is David Brown. I am an atty in St. Louis. My friend, Kenneth Gladney, who is black, was passing out Don't Tread on Me Flags and Tea Party buttons at the end of the event to Tea Party supporters and conservatives. He was then called a racial slur by two SEIU members. He was then attacked by two black males (SEIU reps) and white male, another SEIU rep., and a white woman. The punched him in the face and he fell to the ground. He was then kicked and punched by all four. One fled on foot, and three were arrested. Kenneth was taken to St. John's Mercy Hospital to the emergency room. He has suffered numerous injuries."

This follows President Obama's "Organizing for America" being told to attend townhall meetings and be the loudest voices - and for promising supporters they will "Punch Back Twice As Hard"

Here is a video of the beating:

wow things are getting nuts. are the pinkertons going to start packing big sticks at these meetings next?

at least it wasn't a lie... they are definitely punching back twice as hard... will be interesting to follow the case against the punchers...

So since it's now Fox News' fault for terrorist attacks, can we blame Obama/Moveon for thsi?

no, you can't...

That's right. I forgot that liberals aren't responsible for their actions. Never mind then.

I read the article by the St. Louis Post Dispatch and nowhere in the article did it say Mr. Gladney was attacked by union members. The only people spreading that rumors are kooks on conservative web sites and blogs.

BTW - I've noticed other then this guy KG and the ones who attacked him, there has been an obvious lack of a minority presence at these town halls that are rife with shouting, disruptions and threats. I know the GOP and Fox are trying to label these people as part of random grass roots movement. Looking at the crowds it appears a segment of the population is being recruited by organized right wing groups.

Looks like the same people at the McCain/Palin rallys.

With the level of tension comes violence. Don't pretend it's only coming from one side. The political tension level is now as high, if not more than the previous election.

Florida meeting turns ugly

Don't get me wrong, I'm not for violence on either side here - seriously. The problem is that the dems in charge are doing a horrible job of managing perception right now. From the white house asking people to report disinformation about UHC, to Pelosi calling people speaking out Nazis, to the union types showing up at town hall meetings. Whether you like it or not, this creates the perception that the dems are trying to employ strong-arm politics and deriding people for exercising their first amendment rights. There are a lot of people who have very legitimate concerns about the current healthcare bill and they don't like the idea of having it rammed down their throats and their duly elected representatives being (what they perceive as) bullied into towing the party line.

When the video starts KG is already on the ground. There is a scuffle around him with a bunch of SEIU shirts but its unclear what happened before.

Again, if union members attatcked KG without provocation why did the article fail to mention it?

Sarcasm, son. Don't get upset.

You guys don't understand. The guy that go punch I bet if we had UHC already. after the ER visit he would have great follow up visits. Instead of likely paying out of pocket for checkups. 😉

I heard those magic words in that video, "What the hell is wrong with you."

That's the first question every self hater asks. There is always something wrong with the other guy. Of course there is, everybody is projecting and that other guy is worthless feeling old you.

The more you hate yourself the more the world looks evil, filled up say, with Communists and gay people.

Hey, it's the Chicago Way. This guy will probably get a dead fish delivered to his house or wake up next to a horse's head.

And that "Meet the Mob" link is hilarious. "ZOMG TEH MOBZ!"
