It does. And not only that, but I don't necessarily agree that most people leave it at defaults. The majority of runs I've seen use AA (which is not a default setting), and some bump the AF and Tess settings higher as well.

AF below 16x is stupid, and yet the default is 4x.
If I can't do AF of 16x I will lower quality elsewhere, I don't know why anyone would ever play a game with AF under 16x.

no stuttering on my crossfired system, ran smooth all the way through the benchmark
interesting results, i just installed windows 8 pro today and ran this benchmark with the default drivers that windows 8 installed. everything is the same except of course 7 to 8

The minimum FPS can easily fluctuate between tests. I wouldn't think anything of it unless this was the average of say, 5 tests back to back. It is curious though and warrants more diagnosis.

just installed the new drivers and seen minimal improvement over the built in driver. oddly 3dmark11 refuses to run with either driver for me. locks computer up
