Well I'm glad the jury took their time and thoroughly considered this case. From what I read and saw as presented in this case I just could not see a conviction. There was just no evidence to the contrary other than self defense. I'm sure there are some folks that were very pro Trayvon that are quite upset but I do believe justice was served today.

Why doesn't Zimmerman look pleased? Does he realize he can now like go home...? I guess he's just overwhelmed and probably will break down in tears soon.

In fairness I think he has always felt really bad about killing Trayvon Martin, and despite what I'm sure is a great sense of relief I don't know that he is exactly jubilant about this.

whenever there is a high profile case in the media everyone seems to forget how the justice system works. Same thing with Casey Anthony. prosecution did not do their job convincing the jury of guilt.

I agree with the verdict and think it was right in terms of the facts and self defense.
I am however not "excited" about it however as someone is dead.

Pretty much this. There was reasonable doubt but really i dont know how much zimmerman egged it on r who started it. Early in this thread i made statement about insanity of FL law and i still belive it cause so much unnecessary death.. Everywhere but in your home you should have DUTY to retreat to avoid crap like this.

Congratulations George Zimmerman. I must admit, throughout the year I was in the camp that thought that he bore some responsibility for the death of Trayvon. Now that he has been submitted to trial by jury I can honestly say that I feel relieved for him and feel that everyone should be able to put this behind them.

Felt bad? What the fuck does that mean to Trayvon's parents? This scumbag needs to sit in a jail cell. Fuck that.

Nope, he doesn't. Most people disagree with you, and the jury disagrees with you. Therefore, simply, you are wrong.
