What happens if the jury does the following?

2nd Degree Murder: Not Guilty

Manslaughter/Acquittal -- Hung jury

If the State retries the case with a different jury, can they try it for 2nd Degree Murder again or would it be Manslaughter only? Would trying him for 2nd Degree Murder constitute double jeopardy at that point?

Well, I'm pleased. This is the right verdict. It appears to me the jurors took their responsibilities seriously and considered the case carefully. I hope there is little or no rioting but in any event I believe justice was served here.

I agree with the verdict and think it was right in terms of the facts and self defense.
I am however not "excited" about it however as someone is dead.

I agree completely. Jury served with honor.

What happened to tv show stuff where they are like in the charge of 2nd not guilty, in charge of manslaughter not guilty?

Anyway, now the butthurt begins of people who don't understand how to weigh evidence whatsoever.

Not guilty. Finally, a person can use deadly force to defense himself when being physical attacked.

Sweet justice.

Why doesn't Zimmerman look pleased? Does he realize he can now like go home...? I guess he's just overwhelmed and probably will break down in tears soon.
