You're right it was avoidable by both involved and the fact of the matter it appears that TM was shot/killed while in the commission of assault and battery against GZ. The law must be applied/followed based on the evidence and nothing more. If it's shown to be a case of self defense then GZ should be provided all the protections/rights afforded to him by Florida Law/Statutes.
It's obvious that Martin was shot and killed by a narcissist who wanted to impress his daddy and the local police. Zimmerman instigated the entire confrontation, and he's going to be held accountable for it in a courtroom. Only in Florida, it seems, can you start a fight then kill the other person for defending themselves. I'm thinking that law is going to change after this trial. It's very telling you don't want this to see trial.
Well which is it? Is he going to be held accountable or does Florida law protect him? Both can't be true.
