Given all known evidence (what John saw, the wounds, single shot fired, the screams, GZ calling police ahead of time, etc etc etc) there is no way to doubt that this was self-defense other than via ignorance of that evidence, racial thinking, overabundance of emotion or some combination of those.

And no I'm not being overly simplistic, this is actually really, REALLY obviously self-defense.

You're really, REALLY obviously a shill who's being paid to defend Zimmerman. John recanted, there is no proof the screams are Zimmerman's, Zimmerman's story has changed more than once, Zimmerman has a documented history of violence.

How have you not been fired? You're really terrible at this, Mr. "I'm a liberal, but that thug deserved it."

Why are you so keen on someone who shot an unarmed kid, in a situation that was completely avoidable, be afforded immunity? Don't parrot your usual bullshit about "the law." Tell us exactly why it's important that Zimmerman is found innocent, to you.

Because self defense laws are supposed to protect the victim, Zimmerman. They are to protect the victim from lynch mob justice and civil revenge.

If there is to be justice, all charges must be dropped.

I wasn't speaking to you, Whitey. I was speaking to your alt, Londo. Now switch back, and answer the question in that persona.

LMAO!!! Let's not talk about the law as it goes against all your arguments.

The last I checked the US is a country based on laws and this law should be followed in this case. If it's determined that this is a case of self defense then GZ should be granted all rights afforded to him by Florida Laws/Statutes.

http://www.leg.state.fl.us/statutes...ng=&URL=0700-0799/0776/Sections/0776.032.html

[SIZE=-1]776.032 Immunity from criminal prosecution and civil action for justifiable use of force.—
(1) A person who uses force as permitted in s. 776.012, s. 776.013, or s. 776.031 is justified in using such force and is immune from criminal prosecution and civil action for the use of such force, unless the person against whom force was used is a law enforcement officer, as defined in s. 943.10(14), who was acting in the performance of his or her official duties and the officer identified himself or herself in accordance with any applicable law or the person using force knew or reasonably should have known that the person was a law enforcement officer. As used in this subsection, the term “criminal prosecution” includes arresting, detaining in custody, and charging or prosecuting the defendant.
(2) A law enforcement agency may use standard procedures for investigating the use of force as described in subsection (1), but the agency may not arrest the person for using force unless it determines that there is probable cause that the force that was used was unlawful.
(3) The court shall award reasonable attorney’s fees, court costs, compensation for loss of income, and all expenses incurred by the defendant in defense of any civil action brought by a plaintiff if the court finds that the defendant is immune from prosecution as provided in subsection (1).

Again, you play armchair lawyer, avoiding the issue of why it's so important, to you personally, that a man who shot and killed an unarmed teenager in a completely avoidable altercation should walk free.

You're right it was avoidable by both involved and the fact of the matter it appears that TM was shot/killed while in the commission of assault and battery against GZ. The law must be applied/followed based on the evidence and nothing more. If it's shown to be a case of self defense then GZ should be provided all the protections/rights afforded to him by Florida Law/Statutes.

Because when a skittle brutally assaults you, you're allowed to kill the skittle dead by law. The rule of law must be upheld.

Well I can't speak for Londo but it's important to me that he walk free because all indications based on the evidence we have, are that he didn't do anything wrong.

Not just legally speaking, but morally speaking as well.

I don't think a person should face punishment for defending their own life.

And JKing106, can you drop all this stupidity about "paid shill" ? at one point you made a big deal of the fact that I hadn't denied it, then when I denied it you kept right on trucking... so my lack of denial went from being very telling, to being irrelevant?

I'm not paid by anybody to express my opinions here, and if you must know I am rapidly starting to think the "liberal" identifier no longer applies to me anyway.

This case was a turning point for me and alerted me to a lot of hypocrisy on my (former?) side that I hadn't been able to see previously.

I still hate pieces of shit like Romney who are born with all the privilege imaginable and then somehow think they did that themselves, who don't want the rich to pay their fair share... who view unnecessary wars as a financial opportunity, and idiots who try to dictate personal, sexual morality to others just as much as I ever did.

It's just that now I'm starting to see that people on the left might be just as deserving of my hatred for other reasons.

Yes, you are a shill. Stop lying. Stop pretending. Don't use a half-ass "I'm starting to think I'm not a liberal..." bullshit excuses to cover your ass. You're not fooling anyone.

It's obvious that Martin was shot and killed by a narcissist who wanted to impress his daddy and the local police. Zimmerman instigated the entire confrontation, and he's going to be held accountable for it in a courtroom. Only in Florida, it seems, can you start a fight then kill the other person for defending themselves. I'm thinking that law is going to change after this trial. It's very telling you don't want this to see trial.

26 other states have extremely similar laws that state the initial aggressor doesn't automatically lose thei right to self defense.

So far there is zero evidence Zimmerman was initial aggressor and even if he was, with the evidence, its clearly self defense.

Guys... can we please derail the JKing106 show? I'm realizing the last number of pages have been people foolishly replying to his posts, myself included. This thread is better off with zero posts, than another single interaction with JKing106, by anyone. The same goes for tashatexas.

There is zero evidence Martin was the initial aggressor, and what a coincidence, he's dead. You love that part.

Since Slim died there has been 0 break ins in that neighborhood.

100% of all evidence points to him as both the antagonist and aggressor.

There is no denying that save those that think this is a racial crime.

I could care less whether there's a trial or not. If the prosecution could provide evidence that shows GZ was in the wrong I will stand behind his being held accountable. If the prosecution can't prove their case he should be acquitted or if the defense can show that this is a case of self defense then GZ should be afforded all the protection afforded to him by Florida Law/Statutes.

Oh, you got proof that he, Martin, ever broke into anything?

At the local Klan rally, 100% of the participants are sure Martin instigated the confrontation. They are also married to their sisters.

You're a liar. You've been playing armchair lawyer for months, parroting "No Law Was Broken," arguing that the case be thrown out. Why should I expect any morality or character from you, though. You'll defend a murderer to defend concealed carry laws.

his family won't open his records.

However, they had a really bad break-in occurance and coincidentally it ended with Slim's death.

I am sure you'd say he just took one for the team.

More false accusation, is that all you've got?

I base my opinions on the evidence and nothing more. Emotions or race (both are minorities) have no place in case. At this time there no evidence to back up the arrest affidavit as everything they based it off of have been shown not to be the case.

Actually there have been many break-ins in that neighborhood since Mr. Martin's shooting. You can look for yourself at http://www.crimemapping.com/map.asp...c=Retreat+View+Cir,+Sanford,+FL,+32771&br=1.0 Obviously you and others just keep saying there have been none without ever actually checking.
