How do you know that GZ wasn't trying to free his arms to fight back? You, don't.

Several things are for certain

Two witnesses place TM on top of GZ mere seconds before the shot was fired.

The shot was a contact shot so the pistol was touching TM's hoodie when it was fired

GZ has wounds that are consistent with someone being attacked or assaulted

GZ had the legal right to be on a common walkway in the neighborhood where he lived

There's no evidence that GZ was engaged in a unlawful activity prior to the altercation.

It's going to tough at best to prove that this was not a case of self defense.

I think a lot of witnesses had the same preconceived notions and after learning that TMZ was unarmed and just yards away from where he was staying they.checked their assumptions. GZ banked on skating because of the picture he painted of Martin that fit something hed watched on the First 48. I'm glad some white people decided to do the right thing and talk about what they knew and not what they assumed based upon the story Zimmerman started telling them immediately after the shooting.

OMG, with his knees. I had it happen to me once. Another guy and I got into a scuffle. we fell down, he ended up on top, pinned my arms down with his knees, and proceeded to choke me into unconsciousness. I struggled with everything I had but couldn't get loose.
