A horrific stabbing and murder of a Ukrainian refugee occurred on a light rail mass transit train in Charlotte, NC. Trump is outraged and is demanding the death penalty for the attacker, and I'm actually OK with that.

What if the refugee from Ukraine was not a very attractive Caucasian blond woman, but some guy or slightly overweight middle-aged woman from Ukraine?
What if the refugee from Ukraine was not from Ukraine, but from a middle eastern country, or South American country, or Africa (excluding white South Africans)?
What if the attacker were not a black man, but a redneck with a MAGA hat or Trump tattoo?

I saw the story on TV network news, including the assault (they cut it a split second before she was stabbed). It was heart wrenching. She appeared to be about as innocent a person as you could ever hope to see.
