Ugh... it's disgusting outside.

Yup, its been getting into the eighties here. I can't wait for the fresh cold air and feet of new snow that winter brings.

Not even 8am and it's >90F and humid as all hell. Gross.

you must be living in the death valley. I'm here in OKC and it's been 100 or above for the last 19 days. I'm so damn nervous about looking at the electric bill this month and next. One thing I always wonder how the heck did people survive back then when they came out here to settle the West. AC's really turned us into sissies🙁

Only supposed to reach 85 today. Little bit of a breeze outside too. Perfect day to sit inside with the AC cranked.

We've had absolutely beautiful weather here for the last few weeks. It's nice to be able to spend the entire day outside without feeling like you're going to die from the heat/humidity.

we could use some rain, so i dont have to water stuff so often

Our heat wave has finally broken. About a week of 100+ days, and not even cooling off enough at night to turn off the AC. We're supposed to get into the low-90's today...and even into the 80's in the next few days.
With the recent rate increases, I know our electric bill will be into the $200+ range...maybe even close to $300.

Weird, we went up to Black Lake for the entire week last week, and it rained up there 2 or 3 times; brief downpours, including overnight between Friday and Saturday. Our kids had other plans for the weekend, so they took their tents down Saturday morning before they were dry. My wife and I just spent part of the afternoon setting the tents up in our yard, cleaning them, and letting them dry out. Our neighbors commented that we haven't had a bit of rain here in a week.

It better not rain again next weekend - going on another short little vacation getaway. 🙂

I sat outside on the patio yesterday. It took about 15 minutes before my shirt was drenched with sweat. I should not have tried to go outside.

Temp
90.9°F

Hi: 91°F
Lo: 54°F

Heat Index: 88°F
Humidity: 22%
Dew Point: 48°F
Avg Wind: 2 NW
Pressure: 29.81"

A bit warmer than I like...but not terrible.

I think I need to move to Alaska to get the weather I want, which is quite sad.

I'm way too white, it was 90 here today and I felt like dying. Shouldn't humans theoretically be comfortable to 98.6 degrees?

Officially 107 here today, though the thermometer I have on the back patio in the shade is showing 111. If it gets much hotter I think the thing is going to blow its load.
