Uber TF2 update today

It wasnt me. I moved around. I got into the action. I saw a vote for ban, and on the voice I heard the dude say "HE'S NOT DOING ANYTHING!" which I knew darn well was bullshit.

99% of my TF2 gaming when I played regularly was on 1 server. If you find 1 really good server, it makes a world of difference.

If you stumble upon a poor server, you are always free to disconnect and blacklist them so you never see it again. There's really no point in complaining while connected to the server itself, it's their server, they are free to run it as they wish and kick/ban whoever they want. It's just one drop in the big bucket of servers.

It might be a good idea to get a TF2 AT night going again, now that we may have an influx of new/returning players.

Went on it last night for a few moments during pl_goldrush. Didn't notice if you are running 20 sec respawns or not. If not then, i'll be back.

Respawn times are default. Moderate for blu, moderate to long for red.

sword + shield needs to be toned down, seriously.

the new ones? yes, I agree. I have the set and it is overpowering

just wish the shield worked on degrass keep (sp?). The new shield makes the difference as using the old one with the sword/boots is rather dull/does not need nerfing.

Neither have I. Disabled my gaming system 3 months ago. Feel kind of liberated actually. Nice to have some time back. Don't know that I am in any hurry to build this new system - but I am curious about the updates.

had to update the server - once ready, the server hit max capacity in literally 25 seconds

as the game ID's are proberly both the same, then I suspect not.

But then the server I play on has a VIP system in place so I gave my steam ID to the admin, and the server kicks someone when I want in . good for me advantage is that the regular players are still on the server as well

but there are achivement servers so u can unlock stuff pretty quick.

Yeah, I didn't see anything except what I already had before my playtime petered out. The only thing I noticed was that everything was now "vintage." What do the heavy and medic get? I generally play one of those two classes, though I'll sometimes give the pyro, soldier, demo, and engy a whirl. I pretty much stay away from the remaining classes as I suck at them.

hah yea i don't play medic and heavy much but i did get the heavier gold colored minigun, its slower to spin up and does more damage. if ur team is already winning it can add much pain lol

lots of the other stuff is interesting but not good enough to make me switch, like the short stop pistol for the scout, 4 shots, short range, lower damage but rapid fire. i prefer the oldest gun for the scout. also have the club with a nail in it, its funny cuz it causes bleeding, but if u miss you hit yourself lots of the weapons are just there to mix it up.

i do use the engies new combat sentries a lot though, they pop up fast and cost only 100. the joystick control lets you snipe people from long range so its good for controlling an area quickly.

Heard there was a plugin that would kick F2P players.

I'm alright with the newbies. The ones that stick around will be good and a larger player community is better.

Several people have the privilege of joining my server regardless of the player count. It makes more sense than forcing them to wait in line, I think.

What if there's a hacker playing in a full server?

Meh, I donate to TN and so I can get this privelege. When I go to play I generally only have a short amount of time to do it; I like to know I can get on a decent server and since their Badwater server is pretty much always full, it's nice knowing I will be able to get on no matter what.
