See, this is a forum that is open for debate on many levels. That includes commenting on the posts of others.

Your lack of a response to me indicates that you based your post on nothing more than pure conjecture and lack of substance.

It's not a lame excuse, if it's real. That's why some of us waited, and waited, and waited for a legitimate presentation of facts (not conjecture). Now that we are on the ground I hope we find something that substantiates our claims . . . and we find it/verify in a manner that doesn't permit charges of deceit.

If they don't find any the next question is what happened to the TONS of nerve agents and thousand of liters of anthrax Saddam admitted having?

That's because you're shooting with blanks. I have given you several opportunities to answer two simple questions (and to respond to my thoughts on your post).

You're actually worse than Morph, little chirping bird

Uhh...yeah...right. Come on...where are the answers to those two simple questions? I know what they are and you're just afraid to say it for fear of being revealed the hypocrite that you are.

Face it or prove me wrong.

Well it's a shame he agreed to declare what he had and destroy them, of course providing the evidence. Sounds like he did everything that he was supposed to except save the one thing that would have freed him from UN oversight and saved his life, the evidence they were destroyed.

We will find out as much as we can, rest assured anything left won't find it's way into terrorists hands.

Oh...but the inspectors didn't have enough time to find the proof.

;)

Unless you can provide any evidence that suggests had Saddam complied fully we STILL would have went after him that's only an opinion. It still doesn't dismiss the fact that Saddam had plenty of time to comply, it should have taken a few years tops. He would have been left in power, no inspecitons, no restrictions or oversight, with the full purchasing power of the 2nd largest oil reserve at his personal disposal. Great judgement on his part.

Alistar7, I see your point and don't disagree with it, but I think that saddam didn't trust the western world esp bush(s). He just didn't want to give up what he had , maybe scared that he would be to weak against his enemies, home and abroad.

I can say a few things about what happened just before he invaded kuwait, but since I can't prove it I can't say it LOL, these thing would make him not trust us

That's fine. My point is had he followed certain steps he would have clearly remained in power without restriction. The man is a moron...

He is even now refusing aid from the rest of the Arab world for Iraqi citizens because he feels they did not support him vocally enough..

IIRC, the stuff he had was reportedly destroyed back after the Gulf War. The problem was there was apparently no proof of that destruction. While I don't defend Saddam, it may be the case that it was destroyed, just not properly documented. If this is the case, we may look a little foolish after this is all over.

One more thing to think about. It is possible that there is still chemical and biological weapons hidden in Iraq that will not be found for awhile, but what about those supposed mobile labs in the backs of tractor trailer trucks that he had. I would think those would be almost impossible to hide, and would be found fairly quickly. Could it be that he never had these mobile labs?
