New World Order. I love it. Classic conspiracy theorist. Do you live in the mountains in Montana with a homemade means of getting onto the internet for fear that ISPs would monitor your internet connection and your postings and the government would come and put you in a padded cell so that you cannot tell the rest of the world the "truth?"

That kills me. The whole NWO thing started well before GHW Bush and went right through the Clinton regime. Everyone assumed that even though there were differing ideals and backgrounds, both would feel the same way. It's the most ridiculous consipracy theory ever, and yet, of course, one of the most vehemently defended because of the enormity of it.

When I first heard of it, the NWO was a conspiracy shared by the US, Russia, Germany, France and Japan (I'm not sure about Japan, but I know there were 5). Whatever happened to that. Actually, I think Australia wanted some part of it as well. You conspiracy theorists; always good for a laugh.

LOL, ya I know old man bush wasn't the only one that tought along those lines, but he was the worst, he even bragged about the new world order. he also sent troops all over the place, sold weapons to our so called enemy Iran, so we help out both sides of the war Iraq-Iran. I think he had big CIA world leader dreams, but it didn't happen becuase he didn't get re-elected, so now the kid is in there starting it all up again

You are right it is not about WMD. It is about getting a man out of power that is just stupid enough to launch an attack against his own people.

Is that what the blame spinner says this week? I thought it was about the war on terror...arming terrorists and such. Then it was peace in the mid east. Then it was freeing the people of Iraq. Maybe you should shake up the magic 8 ball and give it another whirl.

Magic 8 ball - I'll have to remember that one. It seems to sum up current events decently. The crazy turns our administration has taken in the last two years sicken me. Claim one thing, then 2 weeks later claim the exact opposite..... The next election outta be interesting, that's for sure.

I think that he understands the western world, but he understand the Middle Eastern world even better. And based on the resistance that he was able to put up against the coallition forces, I think that he also understood that if the rest of the world knew the extent to which his military has deteriorated, he would have been invaded anyway (if not by the coallition, by some other Middle Eastern state, or he would have invited insurrection).

The UN sactions were not the only problems that he was dealing with.

So he might have been bluffing. I can't blame him for that.
