ZUXXEZ Entertainment AG, the publisher of 2Worlds released a color-printed world map including 32 square kilometers, varying climate regions, six large towns, a multitude of villages and countless caves and dungeons. However, it is no use for some guys who always lose their way, like me.
Two Worlds is an open-world RPG that promises a grand adventure. It contains several key elements that a great fantasy game should have ? secret tombs to explore, ancient temples to raid, orcs to combat, and of course humans that?ll stab you in the back if you don?t pay close attention. This could potentially be the next game to steal the souls of gamers. The main quest will contain over 40 hours of gameplay. If that isn?t enough for players, the side quests bump the playing time up to 100 hours of gameplay.
Two Worlds' intuitive beat-'em-up-style combo system allows you to build your own attack sequences and change fighting styles on the fly, but in reality combat amounts to little more than hammering away with whatever weapon you have to hand and running away when faced by a half decent crowd. And, as an added bonus, the AI characters won't chase you for long anyway.
.Does the change to an MMO change the financial prospects of the game? Are you considering subscription fees or virtual asset purchase?
We don?t want to take extra money for the MMO part, but we do want to present the players with the best possible gaming experience. Therefore we won?t charge monthly fees. Of course the online part offers quite a lot interesting business models, like virtual assets, and we definitely will use these features; some will be free and some will cost something. But they are not the most important part of our decision. The real motivation was the attractive combination of an offline and online mode for a huge RPG universe.
Official word of the delay comes by way of the game's official website. No reason for the slippage has been given and the publisher is not currently able to offer a new release date.
According to the Two Worlds website, the PC game should be in stores on May 9, although a quick check with a few online retailers reveals a scheduled June 29 release in the UK.

'Two Worlds' (X360/PC) - v1.1 Patch Available NOW
Saw this at worthplaying.com, how is there a patch available. Isn't this coming out in June?
Seaman: Really big. Speaking strictly in numbers, the game world is roughly 25% larger than Oblivion's. There are seven major cities in the game, plus a dozen smaller settlements, over fifty underground locations, and hundreds of other places to discover.
It's probably also worth noting that there are many different environments. You'll be exploring forests, deserts, islands, snow covered mountains, bamboo forests, volcanic plains, dustbowls and more.

actually there have been pre-release patches ...
who *cares* about the G-D reviews ... i want to see YOURS
:Q
End of June ... huh?
btw, G3 runs pretty good with the 1.12 patch ... still has that "stutter" ... but no crashes - and performance is "above 30 FPS" with *everything maxed* in game [except *only* 2xAA]
... maybe i should use 4GB RAM
[i probably will have 4GB by the G3 expansion]
.As you may already be aware, the UK release date for Two Worlds Collectors : GAME Exclusive has changed to July-2007. Changes to release dates are relatively common in the videogames industry and are unfortunately beyond our control.
Don't worry, your order is still live and will be despatched prior to its release date via your chosen method of delivery.

why do i find this incredibly ironic
runs *flawlessly* for me -- *all* in-game setting 100% maxed ... - with FRAPS - over 30fps ... waaaay smoother than G3 [even with patch 1.12]
dump your nvidia GPU and Vista ... and that *old* AMD CPU could use a good 'boost'
--or upgrade
:Q

[after i told you "other people" in the G3 forums were having problems like mine]
oh, the "irony"
finally ... your CPU is getting a little "slow" for a HD2900xt or 8800GTX
-especially at resolutions over 12x10
Seaman: What's a fantasy game if you can't battle a dragon, right? We've designed different types of dragons to create that joy of discovery. Even if you die from fighting a dragon (which is likely), you'll still feel like you accomplished something just by seeing it.
So, without giving too much away, there's an earth dragon that disguises itself as a pile of stones, a desert dragon that's what would probably be considered your standard dragon, and finally there's a dragon living near lava that you'll probably want to avoid.
