I'd have a constitutional amendment barring political parties, or at the very least severely limiting what can be spent on a campaign.
Dems and Reps combined have a monopoly in the US. No one can stand against them. Their leadership, not you, determines who will be representing us. You will get their support or you will not be in office for more than dogcatcher.
