Anyway, I hope you are right--but trauma is strange. Many people actually do have memories that go back to infancy, usually imagery, sounds, things like that. Brutal attacks like this have a way of imprinting themselves deep in the mind, often distorting the surrounding information (why Ford's credible testimony about Kavanaugh's attempted rape of her is entirely comparable to the standard of such memories).
