Twisted, dark, perfect: Mortal Kombat gets a new viral ad ( a little bit NSFW)

Half flayed chick with tit hanging it is def NSFW. Hahah great video though.

Maybe you don't work at the right spot... 😛

At least they killed off everyone's least favorite character, Johnny Cage.

I think he was the least like in all the Mortal Kombats that I can remember.

If it's a movie of the same quality = potential win

If it's another sequel MK game that has failed over and over and over and over and over = fail

Seriously, every single MK has been bust since MK3.

Personally, I thought the previous Mortal Kombat movie (the one with Christopher Lambert) was not bad, and it is pretty damn good for a video game movie.

I'm not really sure if they'll be able to do Mortal Kombat better, but they'll probably beat it on sales just from Seven alone.

Anything with Lambert is always better.

just saw this right now, holy fucking shit it looks awesome! i hope this is a real movie and not just a teaser for a new game.

i love how they talk about sub zero's brother too, cause if i'm not mistaken, the sub zero in part 3 was supposed to be his brother.

Hope it becomes a movie too. Nice twist at the end; I was not expecting that to be Scorpion. (And good thing they finally cleared that shit up with Sub-Zero's brother.)

I'm kind of put off by the realism stance too, a little of the supernatural would do this movie good. Baraka looks awful.

The clip of him killing the guy with the chain didn't give it away?

lol well its got more promise than that horrible chung li movie that came out. Here's hoping its not a turd. Building a credible story out of those fighting video games is just not an easy task, i played those games and i can't remember the back story to most any of the characters, you just weren't meant to care.

because it provides no context for what its advertising for? a movie? a game?

It could be a movie. I read something from a gaming site about two weeks ago that said the 9th MK game is due out soon. This could be a promo for the next MK game which the article said the makers were redoing the fighting engine and redoing other aspects of it to get back to the MK roots more.

Did you like the Tim Burton Batman's or the new ones better?

I've never seen Burton's version, but I enjoyed the latest two Batmans. But Mortal Kombat is totally different in that it focuses a lot on the supernatural. Batman is all about realism, if you exclude the parts where it merges with the rest of the DC universe.

Anyways, I loved the first Mortal Kombat movie and was hoping it was along the lines of that.
