I don't get it, is this a trailer or just a short film thing like all the others that have popped up recently?
 
Looks like the movie is projected for 2013. Also seems like Jax and Sonja will not be involved in the tournament, but who knows. It's a shame they killed Cage, though the question is if he really is and what other characters will possibly come up?

Seems like they are going technological instead of supernatural with this movie. How are people going to throw fireballs and such?

Only one project listed on IMDB for 2013 - just an idea, not trying to claim it's an absolute. IMDB requires you to have a Pro account for certain things now, and I don't see some of the details for it. Other stuff besides release date is what I'm taking from the trailer/sneak peak.
 
That's what the other movies should have been. Looks like a great way to reboot the franchise. I for one welcome our new, gritty, franchise restarting overlords.
