Aaw they are awesome! Definetly one of the things I miss most about living down South. Good sides would be gumbo, steamed corn on the cob, colard greens or red beans and rice. Baked sweet potatoes wouldn't hurt either. 😀 Now I'm hungry...

Hey I've been to parties with those!!! In Qatar, whole stuffed lamb was the the thing though. Arabs have this thing with kidneys and brains too, yeeeech... :frown:

The standard turkey and ham dinner sides work well.

The duck in the turducken really makes it nice and moist.
 
I've never had that, but it sounds like something that would go with just about any side dish. 😀

I just had a chocolate fondue party.......... one word of advicee if anyone is going to do it........ don't triple the recipe if you have a lot of people. I had over 30 people & I tripled it ......... needless to say I have a lot of choclate sauce left :Q

Oh well....... better to put on the ice cream 🙂

It was probably skoorbie then. He seems to be a real straight shooter from what I saw on the video Mill took. Mill doesn't really know how to control his weapon, but skoorbie does!! 😉😛😀

My great uncle usually makes it, and closely guards his recipe, but here's a recipe I've tried that's pretty good. It's better if you substitute tasso for the bacon (use a little more butter or bacon fat to make up for the lack of fat in tasso).
