As for your second sentence this the most frustrating aspect of this administration. The willingness to tear up deals is going to damage US credibility for years after this clown is gone from office. Its destroyed one of the biggest constants of US foreign policy: Deals made with one administration where honored.

Doing anything else is just fucking dumb. But we have a spiteful idiot in the White House who will do whatever will get the most boisterous praise to feed his ego, so here we are.

Trump hasn't even alleged non-compliance by Iran. He's just scrapping the deal because he can, the same way he's putting the bone to the Dreamers, the Salvadoran refugees & ACA beneficiaries.

Obama's legacy is being dismantled before your very eyes and you are blind to it? ACA has been gutted, the Paris Climate Accord is toast, DACA will be toast when all the lawsuits are over, Cuba, Transgender military service, TPP, national monuments, offshore drilling, war on coal, numerous EPA reforms coming, welfare work requirements, ANWR, Dodd-Frank reform coming, and a host of other Obama Executive Orders have been revoked to name a few.

I think it's Trump's mission in life to undo everything Obama. I ask you this, what part of Obama's legacy remains safe and untouched? Osama bin Laden? If it were possible, I think Trump would gladly resurrect him so he could shoot him dead himself.

I won't disagree that Obama's achievements are being rapidly erased by GOP/Trump. However, legacy is not just about actual accomplishments, it's also how a person is remembered. And I bet that history will remember Obama fondly, while Trump will be a stain that everyone is too embarrassed to talk about.

You don't praise person who destroys without building anything better in its place, which is exactly what team Trump is doing.

I... really can't even add anything to this. This is the distilled essence of irrational GOP hatred towards Obama. I don't think anyone could come up with a better example.
 
The way I look at this, it's all about three things that Trump is truly concerned with: Me, myself and I.

The shithead sees an opportunity to erase another of Obama's accomplishments and replace it with one of his own despite whatever happens to our standing on the world stage. He's playing to his base to give him the best chance at another term in office, just like he's always done whenever the opportunity presented itself.

The problem with that is that his base represents a shrinking minority view of the nation. This irritating "thing" of his where despite all the warning signs given to the contrary from his own staff and from our (formerly) trusted allies, Trump would rather rely on his own self-admitted "genius" and his sense of self-preservation.

The one trend I've seen so far from Trump's dealings with our foreign policy is that Putin has in every instance come out the winner rather than ourselves and our allies the world over.

Now why is that?

Such is the role the framers intended the executive to play...obsessively, out of spite, destroying the accomplishments of the prior administration without regard to the interest or welfare of the country.

Another legacy "accomplishment" that Trump won't be able to undo is Libya and all the human suffering that lives on to this day. You may remember Obama fondly, but millions and millions of people do not share your perspective.

Not surprising but very disappointing. I expect military action forthcoming, and well at least that would be doing something with the hope that it would work out better than the Iran deal. Otherwise, ending the deal and reimposing sanctions benefits no one at all. Someone should tell Trump that the US being hurt is not the same as winning because others are getting hurt worse. It's losing.
