Likewise, but in addition to what you cited, he's Mormon. As a group, they want fuck all to do with Trump.

Nice to see a religious group act like their morals aren't for sale. Pity the evangelicals and some others couldn't do the same.

Utah went overwhelmingly for Trump. Try again, idiot.

It's absolutely shameful. People don't seem to understand that voucher programs are code for segregated schools.

Oh no, not "code." Isn't it amazing that every word in the English language has been redefined by leftist idiots who can't stand that no one believes their plaintive wails of "racism!!!!!1111222" anymore?

Trump selects DeVos as Education secretary

funny how it's totally no big deal with Trump awards donors with Cabinet positions.

Who said it wasn't? I'll be the first to tell you I voted Trump and don't like the pick.

Mitt? safe choice if chosen
Devos? No
Haley? Probably his best pick for anything, though not much experience in foreign affairs, however Obama didn't have much experience either...and he did okay.
Bannon? Don't think he belongs. I don't think he is exactly what he is being portrayed as, but i'd rather not find out.
Flynn? I like hardliners when it comes to military so i'll concede an okay.
Preibus? Okay i guess

I think Trump is running into the problem every incoming President has or comes to realize. There's really no such thing as an outsider.

But he did receive 100k less votes than McCain (someone many Republicans disliked and considered a RINO), and 160k less votes than Dubya. Further, you had very large turnout for an independent candidate (albeit a hometown boy and Mormon) which is pretty unusual. I won't say it's completely a religious values thing, but they're a very ideologically conservative state, and Trump clearly doesn't represent their beliefs very well.

Prior to the election Trump said that he would put his business in blind trust and have his children manage it. (whatever that means) After the election Trump wants his children in White House with security clearance. His fans rejoice at the grace of the King and the Royal Family.

If I were Trump I would just take credit for the continuing Obama recovery and not rock the boat with failed Republican policies. Look at Kansas at how those are working out.

It's kinda funny that people think that Donito is the big problem while ignoring the fact of a Republican controlled House and Senate. That's where the real fun will happen.

Here's another winner! A real swamp cleaner.

At the FEC, public interest groups and Democrats accused McGahn of steering the agency into an era of gridlock. McGahn led three Republicans, half the Commission, to block efforts by advocacy groups aiming to reduce the influence of money in politics. In fact, McGahn himself is credited as having played a crucial role in loosening regulation on campaign spending.

McGahn was also a lead lawyer for a key group in the Koch Brothers’ network – “Freedom Partners Chamber of Commerce.” In 2012, the organization raised $256 million. It has given grants worth a total of $236 million to right-wing political groups like the Tea Party.

OHH NO! HORRORS! Democrats and left wing bedwetters don't approve of President-elect Trump's picks for cabinet spots and someone that kept Democrats from censoring conservative political views at the FEC gets more power! Guess what? I approve that message and that nomination, and i am as happy as a damn clam that the left are wringing their hands and crying about all his appointments. Elections have consequences after all.

More like I don't give an f' about consequences, at least that's what all these nominees seem to be about..

I have proof the country has gone totally insane....
I hear teachers now upset and angry with Trump and his pick of Betsy DeVos as education secretary.
Yet.... many of these same teachers actually VOTED for Donald Trump.

This only goes to prove most Americans really have completely lost their mind.
(Which I have suspected all along)

And that fits into the "drain the swamp" idea how, exactly?

Anytime you get rid of a Democrat/progressive or liberal you are getting rid of the putrid, stagnant pollution that makes up the Washington D.C. swamp. Fresh water flows clear.

There are outsiders. There are lots of professors in the country with excellent credentials in various fields, many people in public positions (heads of education of various states and school districts and etc) and private positions, as well as members of both parties that are relatively small fry.

I honestly would just look for people who are currently getting it done compared to their peers, regardless of ideology. No one he has selected to this point really has an A+ resume, someone who is totally head and shoulders above the rest and is nailing it. Everyone is so sketchy. I just don't understand it. Ben Carson for HUD? Can't he find a single housing director of a city someplace that is currently nailing it and promote that guy?

McGahn is a consummate Washington insider. Deal with it.

I'm rooting for Romney for Sec of State. I never thought I'd be rooting for Romney for anything. This is the situation we find ourselves in.

The main other option is Giuliani. Then followed by a couple other wackjobs like Bolton.

Seems as per Breitbart the alt-right is rooting for Giuliani and the others to win with Romney a distant fourth. That goes to show the alt-right is scary, ignorant and downright a threat to our nation.

Ummm Go Romney?
