Last week, I forget which day, was on the phone with a friend who was driving up near the border with Canada. A few minutes into the call he mentions how he is passing a long convoy of trumptard cars and trucks. Almost as soon as the idiots in the rear view, he just starts laughing uncontrollably. The lead truck's hood, not secured apparently, flipped up once they got to 60mph or so, driver went nuts trying to pull over and not hit anything or get rear ended. Total mayhem, on a freeway. I've only seen one of those myself, the reaction it prompted from the public was less than supportive let's say, and they didn't linger.

Made me think of those other trump rubes that sank their boats at a rally. Good times.

At least in a boat parade on a body of water, you aren't restricted to two or four lanes on a highway to try to avoid the mess if you are not involved...the idiots on the highway could have killed someone pretty easily with a hood mishap like that...

It's part of the game they play. Republicans will never say Democratic party or Democratic Senator.
Exactly. You can always tell a Republican party flatliner, they say Democrat Party, not Democratic Party. I like to say this:

Democratic Party
Democratic Party
Democratic Party
Democratic Party
Democratic Party

Repeat after me:

Democratic Party

I don't think the party will feel much need to cling to him. Don't know if it'll split the vote, but GOP politicians certainly won't be obliged to kiss Trump's ass unless they believe a lot of his voters are necessary, and I suspect that won't be the case very often (see: serving Republicans already starting to distance themselves from Trump).
Trump wants attention. But right now he's probably secretly very scared. Losing scares him a lot, losing attention really scares him, but probably more than anything right now he's afraid of prosecution. Going bankrupt again may be in the cards too, but he may not be especially afraid of that... I don't know the particulars, and since he won't release his tax returns, most people don't know about his financial solidity.

He's got a lot to worry about, he's probably pretty delirious right now with worry. He won't show it other than to aggressively attack Biden, Harris, the Democratic Party, the media (he called a reporter who was questioning him the other day a "criminal" because of his line of questioning).

Just be committed, mind your karma, be kind to yourself and one another. Nothing new, but well worth keeping in mind.
I believe in Karma but not in any sense that it is imposed by some magical force of justice from outside. I think Karma is a psychological phenomenon that relates to the fact that we create what we fear. I believe that most people don't give Karma the time of day because they live in an alternate universe in which Karma does not exist. If they knew they hated themselves and that hate will destroy them simply as a fact that any can see via introspection, they might not live so causally of feel so smug there bubble protects them. To deny reality is to cause oneself to back into it asleep. The awakening from that kind of sleep is the awakening that is rude.

My friend, karma exists for everyone, whatever their belief system or if they turn their back on reality. Yes, you and me, her and him.

You omitted "they." And "they" can have some of the most complicated karma of all.

I'd like to believe that, I really would. But...karma is justice without the satisfaction, and I don't believe in justice. Not anymore. Not in our reality as it stands.

Edit to clarify: I believe karma happens, but it is definitely nowhere near universally applied, in my opinion. It caught Herman Cain this year. It'll get Rush, sure. But how many aren't? Or conversely, how many will it happen to that "don't deserve it"?

This is precisely why I posted my feelings on Karma to Muse. You don't believe in Karma because you don't always see instant Karma or Karma that is obvious, as in the examples you gave where someone obviously suffers. And while I am quite OK with the fact that you have lost faith in justice because such lose of faith was vital to me to discovery of what I am about to say, I just want to tell you of a Karma you may not see but from which we all suffer and it is the unconscious suffering we feel when we do not know our hearts desire and therefore can't fill it.

check your privilege
@Fanatical Meat , you might want to lighten up with your generalizations.
Those guys in the blue dump trucks might be getting paid to drive them in the rally, with little or no choice in the matter.
My union recommends Biden, recommends progressives for the most part for the last 30 years I have been paying attention.
That does not mean that both of us don't know more than a few boneheads who vote against their collective best interests 🙂
It brings to mind the openly gay Republicans. WTF?
My folks were big in the Democratic party and organization from the 60's onward. Both were union members. My brothers and sisters too.
Personally, I caucused for Bernie in 2016, when our state still had caucuses.
For every loudmouth squeaky wheel nimrod, I believe there are 3 or 4 quietly doing the right thing.

Fuck Them

Yes, all good decisions start and end with two words, fuck it. Lol...

While my dream is to have 100% of eligiable people vote someday, we have to be realistic about what will happen. Hordes of “I never have voted” morons will cast moronic votes. Morons vote Trump because he is big and talks tough. They will continue to make the same choice over and over.
Can’t fix stupid if stupid doesn’t want to be fixed.

Yep. The girl in the video looks young enough that it might actually be her first time voting, which would be funny

It's amazing what kinda bubble people have to be in to think trump is the greatest thing since sliced bread

They are dummies, dumb people make dump decisions.
She will be the person who buys a new windows because someone knocked on her door and said she needed the. The guy at the door sounded smart...
She will buy the extended warranty for her car because someone called her about it
These crappy businesses exist for a reason, churn thru prospects until you find the golden dummy

Those businesses don't have to try very hard to find their marks. Dime a dozen.

Some voters are misinformed or vote for the wrong reasons. Not every person quoted in that article is wrong. I can’t imagine why a construction worker or tradesperson would be for a candidate who is against a lockdown. There are session musicians in my community who have warmed up to Trump for this reason, would you like to fuck them too?

The question isn't whether @Fanatical Meat wants to fuck them, it's whether they enjoy the maskless hoards fucking them. States respond to the numbers, if they're not science deniers. Changing your lifestyle for a year while a vaccine gets finished should be a no brainier, or a brainer I guess. It's easy to be anti lockdown and pro masks + social distancing responsibility. It's even easier to not give a fuck about your fellow Americans it seems.

I just...can't even...

I can't even escape reality like these people do when I use mind-altering substances...I don't understand how these morons do it on an hourly basis.
Nobody ever taught them critical thinking. They have ties, watch a lot of TV that mollifies them. Trump is the perfect choice for people who don't want to have to think, to know anything. He's the dummies dream, actually.
