President Trump will sign orders Tuesday to advance construction of the controversial Keystone XL and Dakota Access pipelines, The Hill has confirmed.

The orders will not grant the final permits needed for the oil pipelines, but will move both projects toward approval, a person familiar with the action said.

If people thought the pipeline protests were big before just wait for this shitstorm. Maybe he should save a few hornets nests to kick over in the 2nd week on the job.

Yeah I wonder what rallying around this will happen. It's still HORRIBLE out in ND weather wise. And sadly, rally after rally after protest after protest ... it starts to become white noise.
*sigh*

Given that there is concrete action that could be taken (obstructing construction) this has the potential to escalate out of all possible control.

Sadly, I agree 100%
I certainly fear it's not going to get any better before it gets worse.

The problem with his contract is it starts like this:

and begins with restoring honesty, accountability and change to Washington

And I don't think anyone is "surprised" at this (or any other) action he's taken thus far. The OP is stating that he did in fact follow up on his "contract" with America. Where do you get "surprise" from in any of these posts?

You'd probably be surprised that most his supporters agree with him on the honesty, accountability and change issue.

No surprise there, his supporters are just as dishonest as he is, swallowing up his numerous obvious lies and spewing them back out unquestioningly. They're a bunch of sheep without the cognitive capacity to make conclusions beyond what their Cheeto shepherd feeds them.

I wonder if the fact that he is an investor in the pipeline builder has anything to do with his decision. He has claimed to have sold his investment, but they only proof we have is his word, which could easily be another set of "alternate facts." In Trumpspeak such a sale could have been a transfer to his kids for way below market value.

Have to agree. Folks are still out there on the lines and come spring there will be many more.

You wont care what anyone says in defense of not building it. So why bother. The route could be lined with puppies and you would plow away. And never mind your post being an obvious troll post.

Actually, I thought he said he sold those shares? I don't recall if he said that or not, and even if he did, we'd have no way of knowing if it wasn't an #alternativefact either.

But if it kills off a community of dem welfarin' redders, all the better! Make America Great Again! More attack dogs! More dying Native Americans!

And here I was, thinking that Native Americans are people. But clearly, if they get poisoned so that some rich white cunts get bigger profits, all is well.
