Seems pretty reasonable, I don't see any immediate reason for alarm.

You're spreading false lore, and defaming anurans in the process, sir.Said the frog in the pot of water on the bunsen burner.
It doesn't but it does show he's a busy little bee.
What will be interesting is to see how the Republicans, and I don't mean Trumpites will react. Republicans I know didn't want him to win the nomination and now they're as upset as anyone. There's probably a fair number which will side with Dems on a lot of issues and Dandy Don is probably not going to have the obedience he feels he deserves.
Anything that challenges Donald J Trump's impenetrable bubble with which he views reality through is an anathema to the administration. What's horrible is that the Badlands National Park tweeted out (and then deleted) climate change facts in protest of the gag order. Yes, providing scientific knowledge is an act of defiance in the Trump era.
Good. This is what America wants. Hopefully he puts all the rust belt coal miners back to work and they all die by age 40 of black lung.
He's breaking things that don't go back together again. I'm too distraught for schadenfreude, but yeah, fuck anyone that voted for this clown. I'm so beyond it at this point. Only 1 senator voted against each of Trump's cabinet picks. Not even Sanders. That's after three and a half million people marched on Saturday, they just did his bidding anyway.
Rhetorical question, what comes after peaceful protests utterly fail?
The marchers start doing the hard, boring work of organizing for the next election cycle.Rhetorical question, what comes after peaceful protests utterly fail?
Democrats bailed everyone out last time Republicans trashed the economy and it took less than 2 years for everyone to forget what happened. Fuck everybody.Non rhetorical answer? Take the hate out on Trump supporters. If one is happy to see others die by age 40 because of politics then why stop there? Teach them to suffer and fear. Seems hate isn't a one way street.

Maybe he's trying to actually hold the EPA accountable for their lawful mandate, but it's fun to see the left screaming "the sky is falling, the sky is falling!!"

I fought the fight, did my best to try to save people from themselves for no personal gain and was rewarded with nothing but disdain from those same people. People who now are going to waste the last of their brain power convincing themselves and others that Trump is doing good things. Fuck. Them. All.I appreciate your honesty. Open hatred is something I've seen enough to understand.
Prohibiting new task orders and work assignments from being issued to contractors may impact ongoing cleanups and monitoring at superfund sites. I say "may" instead of "will" because I not in that field anymore. Back when I was, EPA would sign a contract for a complete cleanup but dole out the money under the contract through a series of task orders. It provided flexibility to adjust work to what was found during site cleanups. Shutting down the issuing of task orders can effectively shut down a project. Contractors will then be able to file claims for demob/remob costs. This is not a freebie for the government.
About EPA folks using burner phones & Tor to post agency information rather than official channels now denied them.

Considering the ridiculous constraints in a now near-China situation I think it a damn good idea for these employees to make themselves as secure from intrusion as possible. So using Tor or VPN and discussing things which aren't classified? I've no problem with that especially with the intrusive systems foisted on us over the last two decades.
So his first week in, and Trump is already putting 16,000 government employees and who-knows-how-many contractors out of work?
Sometime during the election, I saw this picture of prominent wealthy Trump supporters wearing t-shirts that said, "Fuck your feelings," and my first thought was, don't they know that sentiment can work both ways? Now I'm starting to think that they did know.
