Are you still going to stick with "that Norwegian guy nominated him, I'm sure of it!"?

Well if I got it wrong then many news sources are also wrong. See links below.

Also your quoted part of your question is BS or link to where I stated "that Norwegian guy nominated him, I'm sure of it!".

What I said was this:

"I must have missed that part. From what I read it was from Christian Tybring-Gjedde, a member of the Norwegian Parliament. "

LOL, ok. You're a grown man and you didn't think that was an utterly ridiculous post. Honestly, I can't help you with your problems.

I don't recall asking for your help or opinion.

I don't have any problems. It seems you are the one with issues... Can't even make a proper quote.

It appeared to me you were implying that Christian Tybring-Gjedde, a member of the Norwegian Parliament didn't nominate him.

I only supplied you with what I read.

Have you still not read the thread that you created? Are you still going to stick with "that Norwegian guy nominated him, I'm sure of it!"?

No, you just CREATED A THREAD ON A DISCUSSION FORUM. Jesus.

The quoting in my previous message was exactly as intended.

Where did I ask for your help?

So you intentionally quoted a fabrication?

You were wrong. Just admit it.

Uh, no. I think you're referring to this comment of mine:

Are you still going to stick with "that Norwegian guy nominated him, I'm sure of it!"?

That's me paraphrasing your implied position in my view, which seemed to be entirely accurate judging by your later post:

But when we talk about you being dishonest, we mean that:

1) You created a thread on a topic you clearly do care about
2) You then advocated a position that was pretty much "I don't really care, do you?" when asked for your actual opinion (warning pcgeek that wasn't intended to be a LITERAL QUOTE of yours)
3) You claimed to be honest even though you clearly avoided any discussion regarding the forged nomination

Your attempts to deflect and say "I didn't really say that though" (warning again pcgeek, not a literal quote of yours) are childish and uninteresting. Try actually discussing the topic in its entirety and voicing a personal opinion. Even - shock horror - the bit that Trump is most likely guilty of.

I find that it is odd nobody seems to be discussing this in the forums. Not even a peep that I see.
I don't think that he will get the prize deserving or not.

Strange times.

I was looking for the subject to come up and all the hate and venom to start spewing about how undeserving he is.

Getting Israel and the UAE to open up and start having a normal relationship to one another is a good step.

Now will it last?

I have my doubts.

This is the only reason the man child is here, to stir up shit. Every single hit you take at this guy he takes masochist pleasure in. You dont serve drinks to an alcoholic. Dont feed the troll.

Personally I always make sure to nominate the peace prize ironically to the one who starts the most wars....

Remind me, who was that again?

Hitler?

Ahhh, I know, You think you are being clever and saying that it was Obama.

How many wars did Obama start? Uh, zero.

In all honesty I've always considered awards and trophies useless and banal, so whether I, a friend, family member or an underserving person like Trump receives one I'm indifferent to whatever "accomplishments" they've achieved

Side note: good to be back here, fresh and more grounded (*cough*kinder*cough*)

I didn't know that calling nations "shithole countries" met the definition of "peace".

Along with Muslim bans, kids in cages in concentration camps, and using tear gas on citizens.

I might be going out on a limb, but I think that pretty much qualifies as "undeserving".

Trump doesn't want the prize for its sake, he wants the million dollars that comes with it.

Forged nominations: Doesn't Trump have a history of this, something related to Forbes IIRC? I seem to remember a news article about Trump using pseudonyms and trying to convince a reporter that he should be in some 'richest' list.

article said:
In May 1984, "Barron" lied to then-Forbes reporter Jonathan Greenberg about Trump's wealth and assets to get Trump on the Forbes 400 list. "Barron" stated to Greenberg that "[m]ost of the assets [of Donald's father Fred Trump] have been consolidated to Mr. [Donald] Trump." In April 2018, Greenberg retrieved and made public the original audio recordings of his exchange with "Barron", and stated that "Trump, through this [Barron] sockpuppet, was telling me he owned 'in excess of 90 percent'" of Fred Trump's assets. Ultimately, Greenberg included Trump at the end of the Forbes 400 list at $100 million, one fifth of the $500 million which "Barron" was claiming as Donald Trump's net worth. According to Greenberg, Donald Trump was only ever worth just under $5 million, which was 5% of the net worth which was attributed to him by Forbes at the time and only 1% of what "Barron" was claiming.[8] Greenberg has corrected the record by stating that, as revealed in court documents in proceedings years later, Donald Trump never owned any of Fred Trump's assets until 1999 after Fred's death, and even then, inheriting only his share of Fred's deceased estate, with Donald Trump's three siblings and some grandchildren beneficiaries inheriting their corresponding shares.

If Trump was fraudulently suggested for the Nobel then perhaps we could nominate him for the HTA (human toilet award) because we all know what he's full of. :p
