LOL @ the whole pool draining scenario—how the hell are surveillance servers being stored anywhere NEAR a pool??

Y'all just demonizing poor Trump. He just heard from his computer savvy friends that computers work better when cooled, and the latest and greatest is water cooling a computer. Trump only uses the best. Why use a small puny reservoir when he has a whole swimming pool full of water to work with. The benefits are HUUUGGGEEEE!

"Well you know everyone takes money from the bank, why are you arresting me just because I used a gun instead of a withdrawal slip?"

First thing that popped to mind was Ryan Coogler using a withdrawal slip.

Not on topic, but for those that don't know, he's a billion dollar movie director. he's also black. So he must be trying to rob the bank when he tries to withdraw money, using a withdrawal slip, and his own bank card. One of the depressing videos I've ever seen. A man handcuffed for trying to withdraw his own money. A man too afraid to reach into his own pockets, because he's afraid he might get shot. The arrest video was released by TMZ. It's on Youtube if you care to look.

Here we go. He's going off the rails. Marxists AND Fascists after him this time.

He’s working through his five stages of grief: 1)Anger, 2)hatred, 3)denial, 4)victimhood, 5)Anger.

I'm wondering if the pools at Mar-A-Lago even get used? ...Maybe Marjorie Post used them back in the day. I can see under Trump ownership, they are just filled for show.

I can’t picture Trump ever going for a swim. I can’t imagine him ever doing something just to relax. Even golf is an occasion for him to cheat and inflate his own ego.

Please please please please please.

I mean if Meadows is talking, trump has to be truly fucked.
It would explain Meadows’ conspicuous absence in recent months.

For what it’s worth Trump denies he’s been informed of an indictment but since he lies about literally everything who knows.

Heating up. Mark Meadows to plead guilty to lesser charges for cooperation.

If true, this Mark Meadows news is gigantic. OTOH (assuming the charges Meadows is facing is something Trump related) all Meadows would have to do is hope Trump or some other GOP is elected President in 2024 which would pretty much guarantee a pardon for Meadows (and Trump and most if not all Jan 6th defendants). Odds are Trump's counsel is going to file appeal after appeal and do everything possible to prevent these cases from even coming to trial before the election anyway. If the Dems keep the White House, that is the time to flip on Trump, not now.

I'm hoping this news story is correct but I have great reservations about it.

As we've historically seen, if he says something isn't happening, it's totally happening

It's just a place for networking. Could you ever imagine being entertained by Trump?

As I understand it, working for a criminal family boss is more of a one-way loyalty street. DJT demands total fealty from "outsiders" such as Meadows; but if you aren't blood, I'm not sure how much faith you'd truly have in Trump to return the favor. His former press secretary and now TV personality Kayleigh McEnany made one fairly innocuous inaccuracy quoting his polling lead over Ron DeSantis, and he jumped all over her. I think Michael Cohen reached the conclusion not to trust his old boss. And for all the late 2020 chatter about pardons for his children or for himself, Trump ultimately didn't pull the trigger.

Even if you're right that the time to flip is after the election is decided, Meadows can't necessarily wait until then to decide his course of action. Is he going to tell investigators that he'll return their phone calls in November 2024?

Apparently the DOJ this week formally informed Trump that he is *a target* of their investigation. That may have prompted the sudden sit down with his lawyers and nightly meltdowns on Truth Social.

An attorney for Mark Meadows, former President Donald Trump’s final chief of staff, is denying a report which claims that Meadows has cut a deal with federal prosecutors to provide testimony against his former boss in exchange for immunity.

George Terwilliger, Meadows’ lawyer, strenuously pushed back against a story published by The Independent Wednesday alleging that he had reached a plea agreement with prosecutors probing the former president—which would see him plead guilty to several lesser federal crimes.

The report did not specify which investigation the alleged guilty plea pertained to. Terwilliger called the allegations “complete bullshit” in a brief interview with the publication.
