"Donald Trump has to pay 100% of the costs" ...

Better Make him pay upfront. And in cash, no checks. All the money will come from his MAGA marks anyway. Another SAD email incoming asking for money 3,2,1...Trump will NEVER pay 100% of the costs on anything.

She straight up says that the only reason she is doing this is because of who the plaintiff is. She put that shit in writing. Trump and this judge are threats to National Security. Every lawyer in the country should be calling for her removal. She’s making a fool of herself. Trump should have been indicted the day after the SM ruling and put in jail until this "Special Master" has finished his "review"

True, she should be impeached and convicted for that alone. She said she's giving preferential treatment to a criminal defendant based on his former position as a government official. That is in direct violation of her oath.

But in reality she is going to end up on the USSC until she is 85.

Yeah I think her move here is in large part job related. She's betting that Republicans win the presidency/senate some time in the relatively near future and her work will be rewarded with a circuit seat at least. It's not a bad bet so long as morality, ethics, and your oath of office mean nothing to you.

Right. It's really her only smart play. She likely won't be removed for anything related to this so she can get pretty ridiculous in her rulings (and she has) without any consequences. She'll never be put forth by a D admin, and this will only bolster her standing with the GQP. Betting we see more of this going forward in the next 2+ years at least. And even further if there are never any consequences.

Justice department filed their appeal. Next move belongs to the 11th US Circuit Court of Appeals.

"The Justice Department says it wants the court to allow its criminal investigators to review the materials marked as classified and for the court to exclude those documents from the special master's review of the search.'

DOJ appealing part of Cannon's ruling. Looks like they're also taking a public dump over the district court judge:

“Although the government believes the district court fundamentally erred in appointing a special master and granting injunctive relief, the government seeks to stay only the portions of the order causing the most serious and immediate harm to the government and the public,” wrote lawyers with the department’s national security division.

Yeah appeal was all on principle but I bet the meeting with the master on Tuesday will get the 100 classified documents cleared by end of the week.

You're going to stroke out, dude.

I'd love to see any one of those grifting jesus fux try to even LIFT a weapon much less "come for me & mine."

Shitlol

Maybe not. Maybe it's someone else's family. That's how it starts.

Pretty soon they won't even need to "come for you." They can just legislate you and your family out of existence or relevance.

Since when did America become so batshet nutz?
The FBI "use to be" the hero's. People "use to know" the difference between right and wrong. Laws were enforced, Russia was considered the enemy, and extreme hate was reserved for the cable company.

Today, the patriots wear pro Putin tee-shirts, crooked politicians are celebrated and embraced, the FBI are the bad guys, and self destruction is thought of as a good thing.

So, when did America become so bat-shet nutz?
Oh, now I remember, it was on this day...

I've been skipping around so i hope i'm quoting hte right post; It was reported he (or rather his PAC) paid a 3 million dollar retainer for his current 'new' lawyer.

The one thing that irritate me about Trump is HE is hte one frequently doing the 'illegal' thing he complains about others doing - and this sort of mirror Putin's behavior.

I guess the other thing is how lawless the republicans as a whole have become. Unrelated but there was a republican state represenative who refused to show a picture ID to polling person when voting - so despite the fact that he pushed voter id laws in the state he had the polling person fired for demanding a picture id. This has become typical republican behavior.

With regards to the Republican official/politician who refused to show their ID, apparently he had religious exemption. Apparently his religion looks down upon having their photograph taken. Unsurprisingly though, his social media had plenty of his pictures on it. So another win for religion!

As mentioned, if it isn't clear, republicans pass laws to protect their money, and themselves from the pohhhr people. They don't actually think they need to follow them. THEY KNOW THEIR RIGHTS! :p They'll gladly tell you that, even when it is clear they don't.

Seriously WTF? Religion shouldn't be an exemption for laws that apply to everyone equally.

Alito’s hierarchy of rights in action. In Alito’s brain, religious rights trump all other rights so one person’s religious beliefs take precedence over another person’s non-religious rights. Alito doesn’t seem to understand that religiosity is completely optional.

Well, you may have partisans on a panel like that but I doubt you’re going to have a majority of extreme partisans willing to make up shit to hand Trump a favourable ruling. They clearly see some urgency to getting this heard.

If Trump loses in the 11th circuit, he will just appeal to the next level...the US Supreme Court...which is stacked with right wing justices. He'll win there.

In a 5-3-1 ruling SCOTUS will rule that former GOP presidents still wield executive power as it’s been a deeply held belief of conservative justices for at least the last two weeks and therefore Trump has the legal right to post TS/SCI documents in the Mar-a-Lago executive suite bathroom as reading material as god and our forefathers intended.
