I think it's fair to say after 17 pages that Donald Trump is a fucking asshole in regards to this. Now let's move on.

I didn't "wish" anything. I stated what I feel. I really don't care what you think.

If someone called your wife a whore to your face what would you do? Apologize.

I don't know. How do you handle that daily?

I think its fair to say that somebody has had too much to drink tonight and that melting down while drunk is dangerous.

Nobody said anything about freaking out. The simple fact for your simple mind is nobody is going to disrespect my wife in my face. If you don't feel the same about your wife ... well I just feel sorry for her.

I feel sorry for your wife being married to someone who is obviously an easily baited man child.

Rubbish. The vast majority of people are decent and good. It is an evolved trait that has kept us from extinction.
You say you don't understand my posts on a regular basis. This is one of those times. Compare the potential genetic gift for good of an innocent child and the good done by the Spanish Inquisition. Each is good or at least believes they are yet one is very evil. Who among us sees our innate goodness over the good we were programmed to believe in? May I suggest that you put a negative spin on what I said because you are defensive, that there may be some doubts about whether I or somebody thinks you are good? Perhaps it was suggested to you in your past that you were only good if you fit a certain mold.

The vast majority are sheep, more than content to graze and live their lives, it's the shepherds that guide them to greener pastures or run them off the cliffs.

There are plenty of people who are capable of informed voting. The problem, as I see it, is that we focus education too much on rote memorization and not enough on critical thinking. That is, we're more interested in getting facts drilled into people's heads than telling them how to question whether or not something is a fact.

And to tie it all back to the original thread (because multiple people here are taking it way off-topic), Trump's myriad Twitter rants should have been a red flag (among many, many other red flags). Someone who calls for grossly unconstitutional laws in tweets shouldn't be President. Someone who routinely makes unsubstantiated or demonstrably false claims in tweets, or launches childish personal attacks, shouldn't be President. And yet, because Trump made a lot of grand-sounding promises and has an outspoken personality, he got elected... if only just.

This would all be so much simpler if we saluted cats instead of flags. No one wants to burn a cat.

I think it's fair to say that people that don't like Donald Trump are all assholes and they really need to move on.

I think its fair to say that somebody has had too much to drink tonight and that melting down while drunk is dangerous.

No I'm pretty sure that Donald wanting to block free speech is an asshole move. Drunk, sober, tripping on LSD. We have real problems in this country, flag burning isn't one of them. And on top of that punishments like lose your citizenship for it? That's batshit crazy.

But maybe this would be a good thing. Keep Donald distracted by little things so he doesn't have enough time to fuck up the entire country too much.

But you keep carrying Trump's dirty tepid swamp water for him.
