And even if you weren't seeking election bragging about black friends doesn't invariably mean you're racist, it probably just means you're being egotistical. Racism, boasting, and the racial makeup of your friends are 3 entirely separate things and the Venn Diagram overlap between them might be anywhere from almost complete to almost non-existent.
