Not that I think this is worth paying attention to yet, but I assume you are waiting for a breitbart or infowars link before you'll believe it?

Lol, I don't read either one of those, sorry to burst your bubble. I've just learned to want to see more (and verified) sources of any "news" item spun for political purposes... and it is cnn, so fake news very possible if not likely.

I'm beginning to think that many on the left are actually incapable of thinking beyond their polarized stereotypes.

How about we ask all the Muslims in the USA to form their own battallions and we train them all together and ask the Muslims to go fight for their fellow Muslims.
I don't think it's in their interest for that to happen. The only people who win when there is war and turmoil are the corporations, mega wealthy and elite politicians.

Remember, when these so-called terrorist attacks occur, the only people who benefit off them are the corporations, mega wealthy and elite politicians. Basically, your rulers benefit when there is so-called terrorism. They can use that to manipulate you into supporting their murderous wars.

Funny you didn't call out Obama when he sent troops to Syria last year nor did I see any outrage when an American serviceman lost his life last November 24th.

wut? You dont see how mobilizing the regular army to drop into yet another country is different then some special forces or "teachers"?

The whole area is fucked from our meddling done by the republicans.

Cowards are pushing for war on behalf of corporate interests. War is good for the ruling class. And is good for Israel's dominance in the region.

War is good for predominantly rural whites dependent on "defense" handouts, ie white welfare.

Let's wait for the BothSides shits to come carry their water.

Well, that didn't take long, but this is just a conservative obligated to protect their own no matter what. Wonder when the "independents" will show up to do the same.

It's really revealing when given a centrist who's somewhat conservative, conservatives know it's the conservative part that's degenerate. But they predictably lack the basic integrity and character to admit what that means for all-conservatives. Just watch.

It's the elites who create the boogeyman to scare us. Then they offer us a solution of fighting that boogeyman in order to keep us safe. We usually accept this because we are trusting of our rulers and owners.

Look how many people fell for the patriotism wave after 9/11. That led to the current mess in the Middle East and North Africa.

It is all by design.

Right someone who has never served knows what special forces are doing.

Syria is all on Obama/Clinton. Arming rebels/Isis.

I have to say that Obama did continue many of Bush's policies in the region. This disaster in the Middle East has the hands of various administrations. The imperialist goals don't change - presidents do.

But the goal of regime change in the Middle East was probably thought of even before 9/11. The warhawks and neocons used 9/11 as a justification to rally the American people behind them. They used the patriotism wave to exploit the masses. And here we are, fully involved in the Middle East.

It hasn't happened by accident.

Clearly it was not meant for you to understand this post: https://forums.anandtech.com/threads/for-the-left-going-tea-party.2499329/page-5#post-38741635

Let's make this easy: people like money. Such as if I gave you money, you'd take it, and in it would be in your interest to keep that money coming.

It doesn't many brain cells to rub together to figure why it don't take much extra incentive to get people getting that defense money to support things that lead to more defense money. In fact, I'm pretty sure even you can rub hard enough on this one.

Let's say bye bye.

You can continue living in your partisan world. It's a waste of energy to even continue this.

Amusing given no one's ever mistaken you for the thinking type.

How the BothSides simpleton brain works in one sentence: everyone who claims 2+2=4 or 2+2=22 are all sheeple partisans, because they're got it figured that arithmetic is just a way to trick the masses.

You guys forget that the Trump regime is full of neocons and military men. He's putting guys like "Maddog" Mattis and others in charge.

There are a lot of similarities here between Trump and Bush, despite the fact that we are led to believe that Bush may not have supported Trump. Both these men have a part to play in the further destabilization of the Middle East.

Here we have one of the key players in the war against Iraq. This guy is still selling us the fear propaganda! Despite the fact that the war on Iraq was horrible in every way, despite the fact that it killed or hurt maybe a million or so people, he is still defending it. He is still saying "If we had not gone, this might have happened or this might have happened."

Imperialism is alive and well.
