I actually had to look at the last one.
FFS, the guy is a convicted felon.

The case was prosecuted by
Chris Christie, who said Kushner committed "one of the most loathsome, disgusting crimes" he ever prosecuted"
To be honest I knew nothing about the Kushners. After reading the entire Wikipedia articles on both father and son I did note some interesting things:
* Charles Kushner's crime was making illegal campaign contributions...to Democrats. Both father and son were life long Democrats until the late 2000s.
* As mentioned, Charles was prosecuted by Chris Christie (Republican). Eleven years after having Charles convicted, Jared Kushner would then be influential in having Christie fired from Trump's transition team in 2016.
* Seven years later, Chris Christie would later mention one of Jared's conflicts of interest during his presidential bid:
Technically the Saudi Arabian Wealth Fund still owns the money. The Kushner fund only earns generous management fees for managing it. Its hard to not see this as a conflict of interest. The money should probably be returned if Jared works in the next administration to settle this controversy.
Will Jared do the right thing?
