Trump approval rating near 50%. Can anyone explain that to me?

Leo Terrell "Trump has done more for blacks in 3 years than Obama did in 8". "Part of drinking the Democratic Kool-Aid is buying the assumption that only Democrats do things for black people and minorities."
Terrell has been a life long democrat and civil rights attorney, who has recently switched his support to Trump.

You pretty much have to be barely-functional on the intellect scale to read garbage like that and then think "yeah, that sounds right."

Seriously: how fucking stupid are you?

I mean, we get that all you understand is: "black guy said a thing, therefore all black people agree with it," because you are a pathetic racist asshole, but why don't you carry the same sort of instant-authority appeal when it comes to white people?

Most likely, it is because you believe that white people are complex and diverse, but black people, being a minority, are single issue, simple, binary thinkers. Do you think that you will ever stop being a raging idiot?

So I posted a couple quotes that align with what I'm seeing, and I have plenty more, and the best you can do is launch into an ad hominem attack. Sounds like a great winning strategy in life...by all means, keep it up, foolio. :D

Neither do I, especially since, at the same time, polling has trended more toward Biden these past 2 weeks.

I don't think it matters much. Trump is in deep shit in the states where it counts the most. He needs a miracle.

There is no enthusiasm for Biden, which is very easy to observe. In the end, when the "hair" wins again, don't be so shocked. In 47 years of Biden being in politics, what good bill has he ever authored?
As Burgess Owens said, "Joe Biden actually finds a running mate who's done more damage to minorities than himself..."
Burgess was actually fighting against segregation while Biden was fighting for it.
In the end, people are gonna be wondering why the fuck the nominee had to be Joe Biden.

Leo Terrell "Trump has done more for blacks in 3 years than Obama did in 8". "Part of drinking the Democratic Kool-Aid is buying the assumption that only Democrats do things for black people and minorities."

Its True

Trump has done ALOT for the black community.

Or was it *to* the black community.

No, you posted a comment from the single black person that you will find saying something that you and your Proud Boy buddies believe--not what you see. Because you don't see any of this. You'd probably rather cut your balls off than spend more than 5 minutes with a person of color. I only say this based on your posting history here, which is all we have to go with. See, that's how you establish best-guesses.

If you think you are honestly representing yourself on these forums, then maybe it's useful for you to know exactly how you are representing yourself? Because that is it. If you honestly disagree, then you probably have some thinking to do.

I'm dumb founded by this. Despite the taxes, catching COVID and other disasters this week his 538 daily tracking is trending up. I don't get it.
Because a lot of people don't care about his taxes, and catching the rona is simple chance. Most folks don't understand the most basic concepts of the US tax structure, so they fall whichever direction the wind is blowing.

When people like Trump and those around him--with their professional requirement to constantly be around people--can very effectively and very obviously reduce their "simple chance" of contracting it from something like 60%+ to probably less than 1% by doing 2 very simple things, it really isn't simple chance.

it's willing ignorance. Trump contracting covid speaks to how fucking stupid he is, and how fucking stupid anyone is that thinks he knows what he's doing, about anything.

Question, is this channel 4 News from the UK?

It doesn't specify explicitly, but assuming from the use of Euros or Pounds in the article I am assuming so.
In the US ch4 news is usually followed by what city its out of.

Would you mind informing me please? Before I share this article.

Lying to yourself, huh? It's outrageous that Trump pays no taxes, even if it's barely legal. It's outrageous that he's compromised & in hock for $421M. Catching rona isn't just a simple chance, either. That's ridiculous. Prevention works, if we use it. There was none of it at the Rose Garden gathering, because Trump doesn't even like to see masks. Nope. Sends the wrong message. He's done such a great job that we don't need them. He likes a tight crowd, too, like at his rallies, because it sends the same message. Don't take the pandemic seriously. Just take care of #1. Fuck those Libtards.

Personally, I do not buy willful ignorance. I see it as unconsciously motivated ignorance. On a conscious level I think every conservatives is absolutely 100% convinced they are right, which is the real problem because the only thing they are right about is that what is right actually exists but but but it is nothing like what they believe it is, that belief being the result of being inculcated terror as children to fear any deviation from what they are told is normal thinking. What they are isn't willfully ignorant but duty bound robots, programmed to respond as they do. You will find they frequently, and for this reason, see other people as tools of programming. But they learned to say that from liberals because in the state of sleep they inhabit they would not see that in others themselves, being lacking in self awareness. They live in an invisible prison of their own making based on whatever their dominant concealed prejudice happens to be.

No one pays taxes if they have no income, why is that so hard to understand? No one pays taxes on money that's already been taxed, this is what makes savings possible. There is no dollar limit on those rules, there is no wealth cap.
I don't know how much debt Trump has, nor do I know the value of his assets, so I can't comment on his wealth or lack thereof.

Every single adult at the Trump events, including Trump, knows that there is a risk of contracting covid19 when gathering with others. They choose to ignore those risks, now they have the rona. They gambled and they lost. It's on them.

Don't argue with this bleach drinking Trumpanzee. He's the kind that'll be a willing cuck and yet carry water for Trump.

Life is stranger than fiction sometimes in that way.

Guess you missed Trump claiming voting by mail is rife with "fraud" but with not any evidence to back it up. Guess you didn't know predominately Democrats will be voting by mail since the black community has been hammered by COVID much worse than anybody else. Guess you didn't note the take down of the Postal service by a Trump appointed postal director in an attempt to make mail in voting slow and have ballots arrive possibly late. Guess you didn't see Trump Jr. on Facebook telling every "able bodied Republican men or women" to go to polling locations and "keep an eye on things", (more like scare off minority voters). Guess you didn't catch Trump calling Harris "not eligible" for the VP spot due to her parents not being residents when she was born, yea, Trump loves blacks alright.

Certain people considered beating back ”socialism" paramount above *everything* else....

Trump could be behind by mid teens but the truly wealthy aka the Oligarchs would not accept the costs of that.

Just partially. As Truman said "the buck stops here". It is the responsibility of the President to support scientific recommendations like mask wearing and social distancing, both in word and example. Trump certainly has not done this. If Trump had insisted on mask wearing, the situation would have been totally different.

Capital gains are still income, so is interest, you get taxed on all of those. You don't get taxed on the base amount that you already paid taxes on. This is a very simple concept.

Trump can't live the way he does on no real income. He just uses contrivance of various sorts to claim no taxable income. It might even be kinda legal. Trump's enormous personal debt is a threat to national security. It puts him in a compromising position where corrupt favors can serve as a way out.

And the bit about the pandemic misses the point entirely. It's horrifying that the President has politicized mask wearing & social distancing, that he'd stage rallies all over the country. It's horrifying that his family made a political statement of it at the debate. It's even more horrifying that many of my fellow Americans are prepared to excuse it. Trump really messes with people's minds.

Stupid people are stupid people. A reality that reality can't change.

How many of these stupid people believe they got a huge tax cut thanks to trump because they took home more money each week due to reductions in withholding schedule, to only have a smaller tax refund, if they didn't have to actually attach a check to their return.

You can't fix stupid.

Capital Gains ARE still INCOME; re read what you wrote.

So year one you made x amount in capital gains, you paid interest on that. Year 5 you've made 10x initial investment, so you are saying you don't pay taxes on the additional income because you ALREADY paid it year one?

edit spelling error.
