When he dies I'm going to the nearest bar and getting a beer for some people so we can cheers and cheer.
Check out RFK jr. Nodding or stroking out?
I've got a bag of confetti in my car, together with two American flags to mount on the rear corners of the SUV, and I have all the Souza marches on my dashboard music collection with "Washington Post" and "Semper Fidelis".When he dies I'm going to the nearest bar and getting a beer for some people so we can cheers and cheer.
Another disappointing day winds down.

When Trump dies, I'm going to drive around throwing confetti and assaulting everyone's ears with the lively marches. And if I get arrested for littering and disturbing the peace, I hope it makes the front pages of the local paper, to spread around my message of "Praise Jee-sus and F*** You Down".
Good choice, although I will stick with the more traditional "Ding-Dong, the Witch is Dead"I saw a twitter thread the other day about "what one song would you play when you hear the news?" and the one I identified most with was Prince - "Lets Go Crazy".

Looking good, sir. Not at all like looming death haunts your every step.

That Depends won't fill itself.
Other popular choices were "At Last", Etta James and "Celebration", Kool & the Gang.
The eyes going in different directions from each other are quite disturbing.
Was thinking of creating an event outside the US embassy here with music and free booze... on the other hand I dont want to go on a list before I absolutely have to.When he dies I'm going to the nearest bar and getting a beer for some people so we can cheers and cheer.

I have a deep faith in our species, if you plot the datapoints for empathy and change throughout the decades, centuries, it only goes in one direction.I wouldn't know what is worse: seeing Trump from the eyes of those native to other countries, or enduring him as an American. I have sustained this misery for more than 10 years. It has ruined my retirement time. Degraded whatever happiness I can muster. Makes me feel ashamed.
And as I may have said already but asserted recently at breakfast with friends -- Why and how can his supporters expect the usual civility from the rest of us, when they elected a sociopath, criminal and rapist?
I am focused on treating them with the greatest incivility. wherever and whenever I can find them.
I'd like to believe the first paragraph, but I'd like to see that graph. Times like these (and these) make it hard to believe.I have a deep faith in our species, if you plot the datapoints for empathy and change throughout the decades, centuries, it only goes in one direction.
In terms of the markets, this is but a dip, I am confident in that. Find solace in that.
And just as a backup, if human beings end up fucking everything up, I have deep faith that the next species up, say Corvids, will succeed where we did not. We are all just cogs in that machine going somewhere. Where is it going? Dont know, but I know it's somewhere beautiful.
Every single time. Original thought, it is not.I'd like to believe the first paragraph, but I'd like to see that graph. Times like these (and these) make it hard to believe.
As for the second paragraph, I've seen that "documentary".
Remarkably believable for being 35 years old (and so weird).
