Allright so the other day I was able to get in my BB account and I noticed my balance was 0. So I successfully canceled the order and got the money back in the account. A few min after that I called to cancel the best buy card.
Should I feel 'safe' about going to Circuit City and buying a TV? Or should I wait a few weeks to see if they try anything?
I don't know what to tell you...but if you get one at CC do not elect to have them try to stuff it into your car.....either pay for delivery or get a truck.
If I couldn't fit something and the client told me to try it anyway and then it got damaged I would say that was their fault not mine.

the tv is in their possession.Originally posted by: Zebo I would have left the tv in thier possesion and driven away but it's too late for that. Now, you call corporate, K.I.S.S. "they scracted my TV" enough said, and keep with the same mantra up the chain of command. no long winded explination nessesary..be nice though. Your second alternative, the next day is to refuse the chrages. Best buy is'nt it's own bank so you'll have some leverage there. Act now though.

Tell me about it. Especially on a what sounds like a quality TV. The best places for quality stuff and quality service are the local appliance stores that have been around for decades and have a reputation to uphold.

Exactly! When I was shopping for my HDTV, at places like BB, CC, Walmart, etc. it is WYSIWYP. I looked high and low for the best price and got it at the locally owned shop because the guy I was talking to actually knew what he was talking about. And he actually started the haggling process, not me. I ended up paying $200 less than the marked price (which was already about $50 lower that anywhere else) and got him to throw in a way better remote than what came with the TV. BTW, What You See Is What You Pay for those who didn't know. :beer:Originally posted by: sxr7171Tell me about it. Especially on a what sounds like a quality TV.
