I beg to differ. He was probably the BEST part of the movie (save for the stupid dancing), but Downey as an Australian playing a black guy, and Stiller as Zooland.....err, an actor, were hilarious.

I thought that he had the most awkward scenes in the movie that really detracted from his character. Kind of like how you mentioned the stupid dancing. They really could've done without that part and probably should have.

"Where's my farm...? Here's my farm!"

I loved those lines in the movie 😀.

I finally saw this movie today and thought it was just hilarious. I haven't liked many of the Ben Stiller movies - I loved Flirting With Disaster but hated Zoolander, Starsky and Hutch and Dodge Ball, and couldn't be bothered to see Mystery Men - but TT was brilliantly conceived, written and acted, and overall I thought it was great. My 67-year-old mother and I were laughing our asses off and elbowing each other at the funniest parts.

I still want to see it, but a couple of vets have said it really makes fun of those that have lost limbs and these guys can usually take a joke.

This movie totally blew. The best parts came within the first 5 minutes, after that it was just another movie with ben stiller acting like a retard like he always does.

I am at a loss to understand how anyone could hate this movie unless he totally lacked a sense of humor. I thought it was hilarious. Hell, my mother and I both have doctorates and we were just about peeing ourselves laughing at it, so I don't think it's a matter of it being too juvenile (which I did think was the case with, e.g., Dodge Ball).

It's still cool to say you hate what is liked by the majority.

It was also hysterical, the entire theater was in an uproar. Even the retards who rolled up to the front were convulsing in laughter.

The movie was brilliantly produced and acted.

good.

opinions are up and down on this one. i am going to see it tonight, and after a couple of blue moons at the bar across the street from the theatre i'll be good to go at any rate.

Most retards don't have money anyways, so why are they boycotting? Just do what they normally do, be antisocial...

Hmm... now peeing doctors, that's something I'd pay to see. I've seen peeing nurses, but not doctors.

Don Vito has no taste in movies. 😛
This movie sucked, and believe me, my sense of humor is far reaching.
Obviously even blue moons weren?t enough to counter the effects. My suggestion just go to a local sports bar and pig out on BBQ and buffalo wings like my wife and I did last night. Much more satisfying and I got lucky. 😉

The ladies might find it questionable but it delivers, 85% on rotten tomatoes
Funniest thing I've seen in a while

you got lucky right there? at the bar? 😛
now that would be lucky, lucky.

alright, after thinking about it this was funny:

Kirk Lazarus: Everybody knows you never do a full retard.
Tugg Speedman: What do you mean?
Kirk Lazarus: Check it out. Dustin Hoffman, 'Rain Man,' look retarded, act retarded, not retarded. Count toothpicks to your cards. Autistic, sure. Not retarded. You know Tom Hanks, 'Forrest Gump.' Slow, yes. Retarded, maybe. Braces on his legs. But he charmed the pants off Nixon and won a ping-pong competition. That ain't retarded. You went full retard, man. Never go full retard.

but that's it, most of it was dry dry dry humor. C-, will not see again.

The movie sucked. Pretty hard too. Rotten tomatoes fails me again... I should of gone with my instinct. This movie is just as lame as it was in the previews. Much better comedies this summer were Pineapple Express and Step Brothers. Even Get Smart was better.

Another dud in the summer movie lineup. Indy 4 = Terrible, Hulk = Big time Suck. Some other's I forgot as well (though I did skip a lot of movies this summer). Ah well. At least Ironman and Batman delivered.

Complete garbage. I was drunk, my friend was high, and most every giggle was forced.

Except the time when Jack Black was tied to the tree. That was funny.

How many people didnt recognize Tom Cruise. My friends wife was so blind she didnt knew it was him, and it made the movie the best for her.
Convinced me to watch it last night, and i wasnt impressed either.

Tom Cruise was hilarious in this movie. So was Jack Black. And Robert Downey Jr.

Actually the only one not funny was Ben Stiller. Take him out and the movie would've been awesome.

That's quite true now that I think about it. Stiller was the least funny, even worse than Matthew Mcsomethingsomething.

Ben Stiller and Adam Sandler get less funny as they go on in their careers. As does Will Ferrell.

And Eddie Murphy.

Watch 48 Hours, Raw, or Beverly Hills Cop then watch Daddy Day Care or Norbit and you'll see a comedic collapse of galactic proportions.
