What's with all the tornados recently? I don't remember that many when I was young. Now they seem to come out every year. Just recently there was one at the University at Maryland that took the lives of two sisters.

It's the way this front has stalled over the mid-south region. Moisture and warm air riding up one side and cooler/dryer air on the other. Perfect recipe.

umm, tornados on the ground generally do take everything in their path. We just had a mile wide tornado go south of us and tear up much of an apartment complex here in lawrence.
