Just watched episode 4. Darn, that was a brutal challenge to be on the short end of the stick.
Most of the other challenges, all you have to do is avoid being the worst. However if you weren't one of the best at breakfast or lunch, even if you weren't the worst, you have a 33% chance of going home.
With other typical challenges, someone like Kenny could have a bad day but not go home because they'd certainly give him another chance...not as easy when there are only 2 other teams up for final elimination.
On top of that, you're at the mercy of your teammate's performance, which sort of makes it bogus in a challenge format like this imo.
It definitely sucks that the 'gaysian' [lol] dude got booted, he was one of the more talented and original chefs and on any other day, he would have gotten another chance.
I hope they never do that challenge format again...they freakin had 2 of the season's best chefs up for elimination and almost lost possibly the best very early in the season (Kenny.)
