out of everything I have played, definetely cs 1.6

I will never touch wow because it will ruin my life. cs has done much damage already.

On the list:
Baldurs Gate 2.

For some reason I keep going back to it. Have finally played through it with every character class. Got back into BG1 recently just to keep the experience going.
Its one of those RPG's that has a simple enough interface which allows you to access everything easily, loads of character options including how you interact with other people, a HUGE main quest with an excellent story and layer upon layer of plot, and a cubic butt-ton of optional stuff.

Off the list:
Act Of War.
I just keep going back, (after I get sick of Baldurs Gate).

for sure it was Diablo and Diablo II.

King's Sword of the Haste (Diablo) and The Stone of Jordan (Diablo II) were probably the most sought out items in the games.

I have a top system yet I cannot STOP playing GTA:San Andreas. I play tons of other games but always go back to GTA:SA. I play it on the PC, PS2 and Xbox 360 (Xbox 1). I love this game. I also am very into Bioshock now, still play Doom (all versions), Quake (all versions) all the UT and Oblivion, all the NFS games. But I play GTA:SA for the PC the most in the last 2 years or so.

I'm guessing this is different from that best game ever thread. The games I have spent the most time with (regularly for at least two years, either playing or modding) are Freespace 2, Descent 2, C&C Red Alert, UT and Deus Ex, in roughly that order, so I guess I could say I found those more addicting than anything else.

Grim Fandango

I rest my case 🙂

This game would have been perfect if they had kept the old SCUMM interface. I hated that keyboard-only control scheme that they introduced with this, and the fact that you couldn't remap the keys and objects weren't highlighted only made things worse. Monkey 4 was better in this respect, but only slightly.

Yea i know what you mean, i got a 8800 and i still play War3 TFT time to time.

Doom is totally understandable, but I wouldn't think it would still be going strong today.

There've been a lot of addicting games: Baldur's Gate, Computer Ambush (wore out the floppy on that one)...
