I've been very surprised you don't hear about more of this happening with everyone zooming so much more, especially all the computer illiterates.

I haven't heard people using the bathroom on my calls. Thankfully, my company doesn't use video.
 
Generally, why it's preferable to leave the cam off. Never know what weird shit people will catch you doing when you forget someone is watching.

We've had people changing clothes (dude's shirt, ...), picking noses, other embarrassing stuff forgetting the cam is on.

Fapping takes it to another level tho. Lololol

lol, so the man gets a little too excited about elections.

sounds like a terrible mistake to me and not some nefarious sexual predation. i hope it doesn't end his career and ruin his life, just living with the embarrassment would be bad enough.
 
Why was he even suspended if it was unintentional and is an embarrassing episode for him already? Seems over the top to pile on.
 
Did I miss something? I assume he was supposed to attend the call as part of his employment, thought he turned off mic/video, minimized the zoom window and pulled up youporn? Was he actually talking and interacting with people on the call?

Weird that he could not wait until after a call but hey Covid is driving us all nuts.

It probably happens with some frequency, but the coworkers usually aren't media vermin and understand it was a mistake and don't go talking to the media about it and ruining someone's career.

I'm just always shocked that I haven't heard anyone pissing or flushing, and I'm on a lot of meetings. There is always someone talking to a kid and such that can't find the mute button, so you'd think the bathroom noise would happen too.

We don't use Zoom at my work but use Teams and WebEx all the time. The best is a con call with 100+ people on a call (that doesn't have everyone auto muted ) with a top executive and some person puts their call on hold. Its less frequent than it used to be be still cracks me up.
