Well that's frickin weird. Like I said, before when I tried it I needed a coupon code to continue. I just now signed up and it said they sent a beta key to my email. Huh. The process was slightly different this time too; I must've clicked something else last time.

Anyway, thanks for the link DarkKnightDude!

Not sure what is going on, but the game is not responding to some inputs like LMB for firing my weapon or 1,2,3 to switch. I can freely move around and aim down my sights but that's it.

same here, I can't shoot at all even when under fire and guns will only switch if I hit the corresponding number key and then vault over an object.

Edit 1:

Per the Ubisoft forums, restarting the game should fix this issue. We'll see.

Edit 2:

Restarting fixed it for me.

Game doesn't look as bad as screenshots don't flatter it but still nowhere near that E3 footage.

played for about an hour. Its more like an MMORPG with third person shooter elements. If you're looking for a straight up FPS or even 3PS then you might not like this.
kind of reminds me a bit like Borderlands except 3rd person, modern day setting and better graphics.

There's some stuff I don't understand, like gear stats, and some of the controls for things seem complicated but then its wasn't explained, it's all trial and error figuring stuff out.

Map is cool but difficult, especially hard to tell if something is inside a building or on another floor.

Loot boxes/bags show up on the map but they aren't easy to see when just walking around doing missions, etc. I'm not sure if they show up on the map when your character sees them or is nearby, or how exactly that works?

its interesting so far. and I'll keep playing the beta to see if i keep liking it.

Thanks for the info. Have you gone into the Dark Zone yet?

I did try game for few minutes and I realized, that my soldier can run without getting tired... I run around for a few minutes and I had enough. If i play soldier games I need a game, where soldier can't run indefinitely without getting tired...
Really? This makes no sense. Of all the things to hate about a game...

I'm sure it's a much deeper game, but the cityscapes so far look on par with Crysis 2.

I haven't played it though. Anybody who has, is there much comparison?

This has nothing in common with crysis 2 other than you shoot guns at bad guys. This is an mmorpg.
