Giselle would be dumb to get a divorce, IIRC, she has more money, so absent a pre-nup, brady actually gets more money. Also, Brady's going to have options for something younger/tighter while giselle's getting old.

What is there to cry about. We're WINNERS... Or did that last GIF of Sherman not remind you of that.

Maybe this will..

lol @ NFL and the Patriots haters. Just goes to show how easily a population can be manipulated and how easily the NFL can be used against any successful team.

Only thing this proves is that binding arbitration, which virtually every company uses to gut consumer rights now, doesn't apply to you if you're rich or famous. Of course we already knew that.

Notes: Yes, the CBA is flawed, but the NFLPA agreed to it. Yes, Goodell is an asshat, but the NFLPA agreed to that too. Just glad this bullshit is done with and we can finally move on to a new season of Patriots scandals.

edit: Oops, forgot to add in that the NFL, as a corporate entity, is possibly one of the worst "human services" corporations out there for a multitude of reasons.

Are you serious? Binding Arbiration always favors the richer (NFL in this case) party. You should be celebrating this victory if ur not a huge conglomerate. Why do you think Conglomerates write binding arbitration into their contracts. Pull out your credit card agreement and see what it says.

You must understand you can't contract away your federal rights. No matter what contract I sign in arbitration as Judge Berman said, there has to be some fundamental fairness. I can't sign a contract forcing me to do something illegal and expect it to be upheld in court.

I swear. People let their intense hate for people overwhelm their rational thought.

Again, it doesn't matter. I assume the NFLPA thought the NFL would be fair in their process like appointing an independent arbitrator.

But, I basically can't enter into a contract with you that makes me a slave.

Jesus. The NFL lost. Be happy about it. It benefits all us non-super rich people.

It absolutely does matter. The NFLPA should be about representing the best interests of its players and should NEVER have agreed to such a deal. Sounds like they're colluding with the NFL to me. ;) If the NFLPA made the assumption that the NFL would be "fair," well, they need some new leadership.

I mean, they've had run-ins with Goodell in the past - do they not remember his idiocy?

Not sure - the NFL can appeal it but should just drop it at this stage. Time to move on.

I'd guess the NFL wants to and will move on. They can say they tried their best while the product stays on the field. Win win win.

Yes, NFLPA agreed to it but it still has to be a fair and unbiased process. Some folks are saying that the NFLPA lawyers allowed that into the CBA b/c they knew that they could always sue(and charge lots of legal fees) and win b/c the process of the punisher being the one that also hears the appeal is unfair.

What is Crazy is the NFL had to know it was going to lose. Has lost it's last 4 major cases, in multiple different courts, still chose not to change it's ways and even chose not to settle with Brady. Crazy!!

Btw, they even chose this court, but filing first. CRAZY!!!

You can't? Apparently you haven't seen how most professional sports contracts are written.

And personally, I want the notion of binding arbitration to die in a fire. But I also want the massive amounts of litigation for even the smallest of hangnails to die in a fire too. This is one of those hangnail situations.
