Are you on meth? That two year old is so screwed, that's just old enough to vaguely remember murdering your own mom.
This. This woman carried a loaded firearm in such a way that a toddler was able to fire it, so I really don't have a whole lot of sympathy here. I'm generally in favor of concealed carry, but proper holsters should be used, and extra care must be taken when children are involved.
The right to own and carry firearms brings with it the very serious responsibility of making safety the number one priority. This woman failed on several counts here, and paid the price for it.
Are you on meth?
And I own guns. Scary, right?I don't do drugs. Well, I'll smoke pot if people shove it my face, which happens more often than you'd think.
I would posit that you too are on drugs but most of your posts are just asinine. Not sure how drugs would help you there. My guess is you're a simpleton a la Jethro. Is that accurate?
And I own guns. Scary, right?
:biggrin:Not at all. With 23k posts to your name there is little evidence that you leave the house. What are you shooting at, the TV?
Actually, I post mostly from work. Don't tell my boss.
Looking down on the little guy. Feel better about yourself?Don't ever worry about me snitching on you. That's a promise.
I don't know anyone who runs an underground car park.
But since you are here, what DO you shoot at? With all those guns you say you have?
Hang on a cotton-picking minute. Two posts ago (go check) you were bragging about your gun collection, now you are a victim of a mean and unfair society.Looking down on the little guy. Feel better about yourself?
Just you, meanie.Hang on a cotton-picking minute. Two posts ago (go check) you were bragging about your gun collection, now you are a victim of a mean and unfair society..
Seems having guns does not necessarily boost egos?
Watch the evening news. Rapes, murders, riots are at your front door.May I be serious for a trice ....
In all this multi-page nonsense about unreliable safety catches and light trigger pressures, there is no serious discussion about the reasons why, in the land of the free, a young chemistry graduate might feel it necessary to take with her, on a brief shopping trip, a tiny concealed hand gun. The gun with which her child killed her.
IMHO, this is not a 'gun issue' but a collective paranoia issue?
And it is a horrible tragedy and a cultural stain.
http://www.wistv.com/story/8451232/cpd-charges-likely-for-grandmother-in-sams-club-shootingInvestigators believe the child was sitting in the shopping cart pushed by her grandmother, Aiken County Magistrate Donna Hutto Williamson. Police say the child pulled the gun out of Williamson's purse and accidentally shot herself in the chest.
It's part paranoia from watching too much TV news, but it's mostly a culture of entitlement that insists on pushing freedom past the point of irresponsibility.Hang on a cotton-picking minute. Two posts ago (go check) you were bragging about your gun collection, now you are a victim of a mean and unfair society..

People need to teach their kids about guns from an early age.
That's why in my family I have the kids watch the family friendly "The Sound of Machine Gun Fire" with Julie Andrews, (NRA approved!)
The Hills are Alive with the Sound of Uzi's.....![]()

Absolutely sick, the Uzi is weapon of mass devastation able to kill thousands in minutes.
No, not a nominee at all. You missed something I think. One of the few examples of a woman who should be nominated for the Darwin Award....

It's a good thing there aren't any in that gif.![]()
Mac-10s in that .gif I believe.
Uzi's look different underneath and ahead of the trigger guard. that's the main noticeable visual queue to me.
What type of gun do y'all think this was? I didn't think a 2 year old would be able to pull the trigger on most of the guns out there.
Was totally waiting to be corrected on the type of gun.
But I'm pretty sure they are actually AK 47s. Or maybe Glocks.![]()

Durrr, can't have one of these threads with someone popping in to talk about the Darwin Award. Durrr.
