I don't dislike Seinfeld. But a good comedy is Arrested Development. The show is gold.

It's not that I disliked Seinfeld, but simply could only take so much of it and found Jerry's writing a bit over-rated. He was a little too stuck on himself.
I thought Fraiser was quite a bit smarter and had better writing.

Dream On (First few seasons at least)
Barney Miller
I honestly would almost rather watch Full House than Seinfeld.

His writing was alright... it was unique. And the way completely unrelated plotlines were brought together by some common bond was masterful. But his acting. My GOD he sucked as an actor.
In order of acting ability -
Michael Richards
Jason Alexander
Julia Louis-Dreyfus
Jerry Seinfeld
Julia Louis-Dreyfus WAAAAAAY overacted her character and it still wasn't as bad as Jerry's performance. Kramer and George just seemed natural, as odd as they were.

I'd rather watch paint dry than Seinfeld...I never did get that show...
Barney Miller was good.
All in the Family was classic in it's day
Night Court was good.
Family Ties wasn't bad.
Way too many good shows to list here, but almost anything was better than Jerry...(even Friends, which I never liked either.)

IMHO - M.A.S.H stayed around way too long and at times became to 'slapstick-ish' for me. The show was at it's it best when it was serious and trying to make a point.
But his acting. My GOD he sucked as an actor.

Jerry got a lot better as the seasons went on. I love the show but I can't really tolerate the first couple seasons because Jerry was just so awful.

The show was such that it didn't matter how good Jerry was, IMO. Most of the first seasons episodes are classic due to the events occuring and not acting.
