I'm amazed with it's graphic quality!! And performance is really nice (at least in my comp) with everything in very high except the first two things (texture quality and another) that are in medium @1024x768 16xAF!!! I'm pleased to see this, and I'd like to say DX9 makes a difference and plays as it should at least in high end cards (at least ATI's :evil: ).

Long life to Farcry!!!!!

Plays fine on my 5900 at 1600X1200.

Crank up the rez and forget AF. It looks pretty damn nice.

BTW I also like the story line and look forward to the final product.

I play it at 2048x1536 16xAF 6xAA and I get 100fps.

I've been playing both the demo levels the past couple days, and I agree, its pretty stunning. Using AA imparts texture corruption, (at least with Cat4.2 on my rig) but the gameplay is excellent, and it looks great. Between Colin McRae and Far Cry, I haven't had a chance to play around much with PainKiller (just installed the demo a couple days ago). I am impressed with at least the first 2 games, enough that I'll be picking them up when they're available.

When you are talking about farcry, what do you mean "both the demo levels"? Is there a different demo out there or are you just flatout lying?

I actually enjoyed playing it and found it pretty fun. It's no call of duty but it does provide entertainment in my view. Then again i liked unreal 2 as well and everyone didnt like it. I guess i am not too picky with games.

i think the AI in Far Cry is one of the best out there ... graphics are pretty amazing for me on my 1800FP, 1280X1024 @ very high detail

The lack of a "Save Anywhere" feature is probably the only thing that might stop me from buying the game - I hate having to go thru the same sh!t twice
