The one thing that bothers me about titan fall is the gun mechanics. It feels a lot like battlefield 3 to me. It just doesn't have the solid feel that Ghosts has, but I guess you can't expect totally polished FPS combined with perfect Mech controls too (which I do think are great).



Look sensitivity is just a bit weird to me. Maybe it's just cuz i'm playing on a new system.

Same here. If they would fix that part of the game it would feel perfect. I'm really wanting an ffa mode tho. That'd be pretty insane.

After playing more today, I think I'm done worrying about the burn cards. I just don't stay alive long enough for them to matter.

Yea I feel the same about burn cards. But its so much fun I don't get mad anymore when I die. Each respawn I find another route to make my way to a titan, rodeo it, and take it out then try and take out the pilots.

Same here, I do not care one bit about my K/D ratio. It seems very deliberate on Respawn's part that they don't really make that ratio a big deal. I'm not even sure if you can find your total deaths in the stats screens anywhere.

A good double-check would be to run a lan cable directly from your new modem to your XB1 and skip the wireless to see what the difference is. If it's in the 20s, then that means some tweaking can hopefully drop you near there by optimizing the wireless and routing settings on your Buffalo.

Yeah, the ping with my old TWC modem/router was around 52-60 the first couple of nights with the game. Switching to the new modem and back to my better router got it down to 42-45 on Friday and Saturday night. Just checked this morning and was sitting at 43ms, quit the game and wired it in as a test, immediately down to 33ms.

Yea I don't have an Xbox one. Just pc and ps4 and the community on pc is pretty cool right now. I'm looking for a deal on the expansion pack. I'm almost level 40 too. When you reach a generation do you loose all the guns?

Also, the titan weapons seem a little clunky. The only ones I can use are the machine gun and rocket gun. The laser one is powerful and so is the phaser beam it just takes long to recharge. Wish there were more variaty in pilot weapons too.

I've been so busy this weekend that I wasn't able to get in any time. I was going to play a bit tonight but I did an all day BMX ride by the beach and I'm beat.

This week I should get in a bit more time.

I regenerated this weekend. You lose everything except your burn cards and the strider and ogre titans if you already unlocked them. I am enjoying this game, but I am glad that infamous is coming out because I need a break from the community every once in a while.

Oh ok I won't mind unlocking the weapons again. It's not like there are a ton to unlock anyway. If I level up to regenerate before Friday that's good, if not like you said infamous will keep me busy too.

I really only plan to regenerate once, just to get the achievement. If I play enough to get to Gen 2 level 50, that's likely where I will stay.

Does parkour ability increase as you level up?

I felt like during the beta I was able to double-jump much farther/higher than I do now and I'm wondering if it is affected by level or class or something.

It's just an upgraded increased jump jets ability that you can set as an unlock I think. Not sure what level you need to be.

So I was able to get twitch broadcasting working last night and while my buddy said that the quality was ok, there was a significant delay between what he was seeing and hearing coming from his PC and what he was hearing on the phone. We figured it was something like a 10 second delay.

Twitch started doing that automatically now. There used to be an option to delay the stream (no delay, 30 second, 60 second, up to at least 6 minutes). Now, I think there is always a 10 second delay, and only longer delays are able to be put in. I don't know why.

I didn't even notice any option to specify the delay. I did notice that there wasn't any slowdown in gameplay.

I hate random teammates sometimes. Was playing some CTF, and bringing the flag back home. I'm trying to hop in a window to get to our flag point, and there is an idiot there. I scream to tell him to move, but he's busy with a gun fight with an enemy that ends up shooting me down and him.... grrr... just get out the way. The flag point was right near the window. Moron. I had stim pack on running full speed, the enemy would not have caught me.

It's possible he thought he would get the guy and the enemy could have been also focusing on him first before he realized that you are being blocked.
