ATI is better:

1) Numerically higher cards - 9700 vs 5700 = 4000 point difference. X850 vs 6800 (X is understood to mean '10,000') = 4050 point difference. X1800 vs 7800 = 94,000 point difference.

2) There are like 57 difference types of X800 and X850 series cards. nVidia has what, like 7 cards in the 6000 series? What about all the other ATI cards? That's right - nVidia has NOTHING....they must know they can't compete.

3) ATI knows how to work an audience - they knew people were excited about the R520, so they kept the excitement up for literally months past when we thought it would be released. nVidia doesn't know how to do that: just when people are starting to get excited about a part, they go out and make it widely available to purchase, killing all measure of suspense.
