Temperatures holding steady at these levels a month and a half later.

Took Enermax a bit of time to get there - but looking good from here.
Is this just the Liqtech II or specifically one of the late production ones they claim is the real fix?

I finally got around to checking what was going on with these things and submitted an RMA to replace my never opened first RMA unit. Opened up the box to get the pictures they wanted and discovered it had leaked inside the box. Had a gel-like substance + green coolant all over everything.

I haven't seen any real detail on the newest generation parts, I'm curious what they actually changed. It would need to be a substantial difference I think for me to actually be willing to use it. I'm not even sure I'd give it away or sell it at this point.

Hey guys, I'm building a new 2950x rig and was wondering what the new go to x399 mobo is these days?
Would it still be the Asrock Taichi?
Need a board that will run 4x 16gb DDR4 3200 and I am probably gonna need a new air cooler too so any suggestions for this stuff would be great.
Not looking to do any over clocking at all and will let stock precision boost overdrive do those things for me.
I just need to run cool with rock solid 24/7 up time performance.
Even willing to consider lightly underclocking to drop heat and power draw if that helps for this platform.

I still like the Taichi, I have 4 of them with 1950x's.
For cooling, this is the only one to get:

Thank you for replying to me Mark.
So first how are the heatsinks for the VRM's on the Taichi?
I had the Gigabyte gaming 7 x399 and the heatsinks for the VRM's got a little to hot for my liking while doing video/audio Editing/Encoding.
Even having a 80mm fan blowing right on them didnt really help all that much.
Also what do you think about the Wraithripper heatsink?
